Wow, so many people siding with the idea of suicide bombings here. No wonder the Right gets away with calling us terrorist sympathizers. At best, you’re making the others of us that are against the war look like hypocrits when you’re cheering something like this.
Please, do us all a favor and keep it quiet at least until after the ‘08 elections.

A quick death is too good for this mass murderer. He should be “treated” with the same techniques that he finds so appealling for enemies of the Bushite regime. Let’s give him the same justice that awaited another failed despot (Saddam). Or better yet, let’s just send his immediate family members to Iraq to help assist with the “last throes of the insurgency”.

Always the same. Never a gas station when the tank is on empty, never a cop around when you’re getting mugged and you can’t find a competent suicide bomber when you really need one!

Wow - something went boom and it wasn’t Dicky shooting someone. Must have surprised the hell out of the “Brain”. It’s back to the D.C. bunker where the rest of the Neocons hide and plot every night to take over the world. Pinky and the Brain, Brain, Brain.

When I think of the likes of Vader, Chimp, Rove and their neo-con pals I really, really, really, hope that hell exists.
Perhaps it does? Of course they will just abolish hell by creating their own reality!

Cheney is an evil moronic Elmer Fud. He is radical Islams evil twin. When you closely examine 21st century American Republicanism and Islamic extremism against the light of truth and the facts, there really is no difference. They are both evil twins. One twin thinks that it is OK to hijack airliners and murder thousands of people by flying the aircraft into the twin towers of New York. The other evil twin (21st century republicanism) is OK with that event and actually lets it happen so they can use this tragedy to their self serving advantage. Both twins use God and religion to justify their lack of integrity, moral deficits and personal crimes against humanity. Both twins also use God and Religion as a shield to ward off criticism anytime someone exposes their shortcomings, lies and criminal activities. Both twins only represent a small minority of people and have sociopathic views not shared by the mainstream or majority of any religion or population of people. In short they are evil twins and they will go to any extreme to get control over the lives and livelihood of others.
In retrospect, Bushs keepers and handlers must have known to some degree that he was a total screw-up before he first became president. Bush and his daddy Cheney were both very clueless about being true political statesmen or leaders of this nation. As such, they did the only thing they knew how to do… fleece the middle and lower classes of the nation to make the rich even richer. It is no secret that Bush was the worst governor Texas ever knew and the tax payers of Texas continually got stiffed by Bush and his policies. Actually, there is nothing that Bush has ever touched that did not turn to crap whether as Governor of Texas or President of the USA.
And Cheney he is the evil twins evil daddy. He is nothing more then a corporate CEO who likes to see rich corporations prosper from the sweat, blood and life of others. Thanks to Cheney, Halliburton Corporation has been allowed carte blanch to freely rake in billions in American taxpayers money, blood, & lives. Also, Cheney is the kind of guy who likes to approve and sign anti-gay legislation while at the same time telling the world that it is out of line to make mention of his lesbian daughter, her lesbian lover or out of wedlock pregnancy. Pretty typical of most Republicans who like to have it both ways. They claim to be paragons of virtue and morality and this is somehow made manifest with anti-gay rhetoric and anti-gay legislation while they hide the fact that they have gay family members and gay members within their ranks.
There ya have it. One evil twin (radical Islam) loves to murder innocent people in the name of Allah and their radical beliefs that are completely outside of mainstream Islam. The other evil twin (The 21st Century Republicanism of Rove, Bush, his evil daddy Cheney, Neo-conservatism and the PNAC) actually allows the mass murder of their own citizens in the name of God in order to get what they want. They both got exactly what they wanted starting on 9/11/2001. However Bush & Cheney are living proof of the universal constant that those with delusions of power do not require help from anyone to screw things up for everyone.

I don’t wish his death. Mr. Cheney and George Bush should be impeached. They and the rest of the neocon cohorts Rumsfield, Perl, Negroponte, Wolfowitz et al. should be convicted in federal court and then taken to international court convicted of there. And sentenced to hard labor for a thousand lifetimes building hospitals, homeless shelters, universities on all of their confiscated landholdings. Death is too easy and quick for the likes of them.

As much as I detest Dick Cheney, I would not want to see him killed. That would allow him to escape eventually being held accountable for all the harm he has caused this country through his hubris and greed.

Sadness for the families of the U.S. and Korean soldiers who died, along with the families of the Afghans. But can you imagine the jubilation there would be in the streets of America is Cheney had been killed?
When Dr. Evil was here visiting Crime Minister Mini-Me, the security was outrageous. When he drove across Sydney’s Harbour Bridge (the “Coat Hanger”) not only was the entire structure blocked off—Aussie security forces had a flotilla of naval ships and Zodiac boats pacing it on the journey across ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BRIDGE! Shows how much this bastard is hated…

Given the extreme secrecy surrounding Cheney’s visit, it seems clear that the bombing was a coincidence which the badministration is only too willing to exploit.

I read on another site that Cheney was forced to spend the night as they could’t fly to his next stop. That stop was 40 miles from where he was.
That says a lot about how effective our miilitary intervention in Afghanistan is. Four years and you can’t safely travel 40 miles by car.
No one can defeat an enemy or movement that operates with dedication, with little or no chain of command or structure, who causes chaos at very little expense to themselves in personnel or equipment.
I Had a friend once who bought a big bass boat and trailer that he pulled to the lake behind his big 4 wheel drive top of the line pickup truck to catch a few fish. I asked him if he had ever figured the price per pound of the fish he caught, based on his expenses. He said no. The point is this country is spending way too much money to kill way to few “Terrorists”. We gotta get as lean as the enemy or go broke chasing a few fish.

Makes me wonder if there isn’t some experience that Mr. Cheney could have that would open his mind to the realization that strangling people economically, deceiving them, and decimating their lives with physical force and constant fear, is his main contribution to life in our time, and that it is his very type of behavior that is the cause and maintenance of what all people everywhere are forced to protect themselves against. What would wake him up, do you figure?

Who really said the Taliban tried to assissinate Vice President Cheney? The Taliban usually doesn’t acknowledge failed attemts at anything. But the administration commonly exploits random events for their own purposes. Was this an assissination attempt or just more exploitation.

If Cheney was the target than it was like a suicide gesture, PR but little else.
It is an insult to those serving, wounded and destroyed that the headlines “Cheney OK”. He wasn’t in anymore danger than he was “draft dodging” during Vietnam. The only difference between Cheney and Vietnam and Cheney and Iraq, is his hands are dirty with the blood of needless death, both Americans and Iraqi. What a fraud!
