Moqtada al-Sadr pulled his forces off the streets of Baghdad in response to the U.S.-Iraqi security crackdown, but a devastating bombing at a university Sunday and other Sunni attacks have caused the cleric to rethink his position: “Here we are, watching car bombs continue to explode to harvest thousands of innocent lives from our beloved people in the middle of a security plan controlled by an occupier.”

AP:

BAGHDAD, Iraq - A suicide bomber triggered a ball bearing-packed charge Sunday, killing at least 41 people at a mostly Shiite college whose main gate was left littered with blood-soaked student notebooks and papers amid the bodies.

Witnesses said a woman carried out the attack at the business school annex to Mustansiriyah University, but Interior Ministry officials said they were still investigating those reports. The school’s main campus was hit by a string of bombings last month that killed 70 people.

The attack came as the powerful Shiite militia leader Muqtada al-Sadr bitterly complained that “car bombs continue to explode” despite an ongoing security crackdown in Baghdad. He suggested he was rethinking his cooperation.

How many more Americans and Iraqis have to die before the delusional neocons figure out that the war they wanted so badly is over?

When will the trials begin for Cheney, Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz, the chief architects of the Big Lie? Deliberate fabrication of evidence that led to the deaths of over 3,000 American soldiers...is that a misdemeanor these days?

This situation will drag on in Iraq until the last foreign troops left.

The whole country has been covered with blood thanks to Bush/Cheney stupid invasion plan.

The late Saddam kept laughing in the other world when more innocent Iraqis died daily. Between Saddam and Bush/Cheney who’re against humanity ? And who ought to be hanged ?

What a senseless WAR !  For generations to come the people of Iraq will feel the repercussions of this War.  Do you remember how devastating it was when several students were killed at Kent State in Ohio by the National Guard ?  Imagine 41 students or educators being killed . . . in Iraq today.  The future of their country is being systematically destroyed day after day.
Other would-be leaders of their country: the educated and the professionals are either leaving or never returning.

It appears that it is in the interest of the “occupiers” to ram their “self-styled democracy” down the throats of the least likely to take on leadership roles in this disintegrating society. In this way those who ACTUALLY are gaining control over the resources of another country will have no opposition.
This WAR is taking on hidieous proportions and does not appear to have a visible finality.

Einstein said that ‘if bees would become extinct the human race would only have about four years before it too, would succumb to extinction’.  Our very fragile eco-system is giving us every warning of our impending self-destruction.  There are places where 60% of the bee population is vanishing. Please see:  < earthlinks.com >

For all the high-tech bravado and sophisticated war-weaponry we may be annihilated by the inability of the bees (our best “agricultural-workers") to pollinate crops.  If the
“World Citizanry” does not put down its weapons we will NOT be able to co-operate to save our Mother Earth. We will ALL be losers.
