Cameron Finds Jesus

Film director James Cameron is gearing up for another epic release. Once again, Cameron is turning his lens on a historical event, but he’s thinking even bigger than his monolithic “Titanic”: This time, the self-declared “King of the World” is taking on the King of the Jews

On Monday, Cameron will hold a press conference in New York to reveal three of the 10 coffins discovered near Jerusalem that he believes belong to Jesus and his family, including the mother of his son.

Time:

In a new documentary, Producer Cameron and his director, Simcha Jacobovici, make the starting claim that Jesus wasn’t resurrected --the cornerstone of Christian faith-- and that his burial cave was discovered near Jerusalem. And, get this, Jesus sired a son with Mary Magdelene.

No, it’s not a re-make of “The Da Vinci Codes’. It’s supposed to be true.

Let’s go back 27 years, when Israeli construction workers were gouging out the foundations for a new building in the industrial park in the Talpiyot, a Jerusalem suburb. of Jerusalem. The earth gave way, revealing a 2,000 year old cave with 10 stone caskets. Archologists were summoned, and the stone caskets carted away for examination. It took 20 years for experts to decipher the names on the ten tombs. They were: Jesua, son of Joseph, Mary, Mary, Mathew, Jofa and Judah, son of Jesua.

I think the focus has switched from the designated topic, and I’ll attempt to get it back on track.  However, in favor of the Truth, the Israelis are not the SEED of the Children of Israel.  When GOD scattered HIS Chosen Covenant People, the Europeans moved in way back in the day of the Greeks who helped them with their scam.

“The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the Grecians, that ye might remove them far from their border.” Joel 3:6

Unbeknownst to many, it was the Late President of Egypt, Gamel A. Nasser who said, “You will never be able to live here in peace, because you left here black and came back white.” And by their own admission, the White “Jews” are Ashkenazim (plural), from a group in Scripture that is found to be from the descendants of Japheth (Genesis 10:2,3) Europeans.  It’s no secret, though they may choose it to be, that Israelis and the so-called Jewish Rabbinute, have converted Europeans, Americans, Middle Easterners, and even Blacks to so-called “Judaism,” the religion they founded by means of “Jewish Scholars,” based on their Talmud or “Oral Law” established on Jewish debates.  By every means necessary these people have usurped the Land of Israel and the name of the Biblical Israelites.  They are oblivious to the fact that the GOD of Israel knows HIS People, regardless of the fact that HE caused their identity to be forgotten. Ashkenazim also disregard the prophecy that the GOD of Israel will cause HIS Covenant People to return to their heritage (Isaiah 11:11).  And they will live together with all peoples in peace who choose to worship the GOD of Abraham.

The Israelites went into captivity to (literally) be cursed among the heathen for forsaking their GOD of Israel, for turning to false gods, and for rejecting HIS LAW.  In their day, they chose the gods of Egypt and Canaan.  Today it’s mainly this so-called “Son of God” and other strange gods, as well.

Dennis, I very much agree with what you said previously.  But I think that all questions should be answered.  Those left unanswered will leave too much speculation and lead to such things as “faith” or otherwise that could have been explained scientifically.  I have never been raised in any faith.  But you inquire about virgins?  I will remain one until I find a man that I have very strong feelings for and will reciprocate those feelings.

All religions are false religions, from the jewish to the xtian to the muslim.  No amount of quotation from the book of myths and legends, the bible, old and new testament or the koran will change this.  It fills me with mirth when I see one person of another religion telling the other person that his religion is false.  It is the stupid calling the stupid, stupid. Eventually, people will realize xtianity is a sham.  After them, the foolishness of judaism will fall.  My mother’s family background is that of the jewish faith.  My father was a catholic.  Thank goodness they do not subscribe to such falshoods, and have raised their children accordingly.  When I begin my college education next year, I will pursue an education and try to educate others of the perils of religion, to have faith in your selves instead of a superstition.  If religion could be removed, and more power given to women, then much would change for the good of this world.  Instead, you have robots who read and quote these lies from a book stating that they are superior.  It is all lunacy.

Leviticus 26th and Deuteronomy 28th Chapters detail exactly what would happen to the Israelites for their abominations enabling all to recognize the SEED of the Twelve Tribes of Jacob.  Ultimately they would be delivered into the hands of the “heathen” and become the tail and not the head, Slaves, paupers, the impoverished, and the doormats of the Earth.

“And ye shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up.” Leviticus 26:38

“And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.  Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.”
Psalm 106:41,42

“I lifted up mine hand unto them also in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the heathen, and disperse them through the countries;” Ezekiel 20:23

“And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.” Ezekiel 39:23

We can imagine what it means to be in the hands of the “heathen,” right?

When the CREATOR GOD gave up HIS Earth to the heathen because of HIS People forsaking HIM and HIS LAW, HIS planet became bitter:  replete with deception, chaos and confusion, wars and rumors of wars, death and destruction, and hatred and exploitation of those who have no voice and no power.  In essence, for the time being, because of the heathen who has had it his way, the world, i.e., the rich and the poor, experience endless bouts of despair and bewilderment.

How does GOD define “heathen”?  The peoples who know not the True and Living GOD, people who call not upon HIM, and who do not fear HIM to do HIS Will.  Now, the mystery is solved.  Now, we know what’s wrong with this planet.  When GOD cast HIS Chosen into exile into the hands of the heathen, HE gave these Gentiles rule over HIS Earth, HIS Holy Land, and HIS Chosen People, the Israelites - but only for a time.

All these events culminated into a false religion – Christianity - and an assured Hell on Earth that has people believing in a fabricated man-god, established by the same heathens in control and who manipulated and devised a “New Testament” and a new religion in order to deceive the whole world.  And they were successful only because the CREATOR GOD ordered it.

“And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.” Deuteronomy 28:64

“And it shall come to pass, when ye shall say, Wherefore doeth the LORD our God all these things unto us? then shalt thou answer them, Like as ye have forsaken me, and served strange gods in your land, so shall ye serve strangers in a land that is not yours.” Jeremiah 5:19

“Therefore will I cast you out of this land into a land that ye know not, neither ye nor your fathers; and there shall ye serve other gods day and night; where I will not shew you favour.” Jeremiah 16:13

That which all peoples should be asking is how to get back into the True GOD’s favor, and there’s but one way to do so.  We must all comply with the LAW and the WORD of the CREATOR GOD, as was HIS intention since the BEGINNING.

“Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,” Isaiah 46:9

“Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant; Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.” Isaiah 56:6,7

“Because my people hath forgotten me, they have burned incense to vanity, and they have caused them to stumble in their ways from the ancient paths, to walk in paths, in a way not cast up;” Jeremiah 18:15

“Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.” Jeremiah 6:16

“Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.” Malachi 4:4

Not just the SEED of the Biblical Israelites but all peoples will worship and bow to the Most High GOD of this Universe and will live by HIS Ways.

“Gather the people together, men, and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law:” Deuteronomy 31:12

“They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.” Isaiah 11:9

“I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.” Isaiah 45:23

“For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.” Isaiah 66:18

“And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.  And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.  But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it.”
Micah 4:2 – 4

“And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee.” Zechariah 2:11

“Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD.” Zechariah 8:22

There will be no room for hatred when the CREATOR re-establishes HIS Holy People, the Children of Israel, HIS Holy City, Jerusalem, and HIS Holy Land.  When the wicked are cut off, there will be room only for GOD’s Peace and utter happiness.

If there were any Truth to the so-called “Son of God,” would the CREATOR have waited millennia after CREATION and waited until millions and millions of people have died to spring “his son” on the world for a few meager years and then have him go off into the sunset never to be heard from again, even after 2,000 years?  Think about it!  Does this make any sense?  And people believe this stuff.  The “New Testament” and JC were born, as a result of the Children of Israel’s great sins against their GOD and because the rulers of this world wanted their own “God” – one that catered to Gentiles, and it was Paul who obliged with his writings that led up to this deceptive “New Testament” Book.

Aside from Creating ALL things, including Paths of Righteousness, there are four things that the CREATOR GOD did that cannot be dismissed:  HE chose the Nation of Israel for HIS Covenant People, HE saved the Israelites out of Egyptian bondage by HIS Mighty Hand (making an awesome Name for HIMSELF), and HE established the Land of Israel and HIS Holy City, Jerusalem.  These are things we all know to be true, but there are other matters that are true also but obscured due to the “New Testament” and Christianity.

The “Old Testament” is replete with what Thus Saith the LORD, and I have written a book that will open the eyes of all who seek to learn about this True and Living GOD, HIS WORD, and the prophecies for these latter days.  Be informed; then at least you will have a choice.

you are absolutely right. what i stated was the theological version of the quantum physics belief that our desires are what holds together the physical and energy. science has a name for god, “unified field” or the energy that brings together thought and physical. the place in our brains that “experience” god, is just our sence of space and time expanding according to nuclear imaging; and now what we feel as “love” has been identified as the same area of the brain as addiction. sometime things are better left unexplained.

I do not feel any of us are the children of any deity.  Once we die, our bodies are decomposed and what goes on is the genes that we pass to our offspring.  I have no religious beleif, all are shams used to control people, or provide a mental nourishment or comfort.  It is used as an excuse to kill another or steal anothers land.  It is used to control, and has virtually no other purpose than what I had previously stated.  All who have such belief is deluded and weak, wether it be the xtian one, the zionist one, the muslim one or nirvana that one seeks or zeus or whatever nonsense.  Those who study such religious ideas waste their lives.  It is more worthwhile to study the sciences.

i saw the last half but i have studied religions for years, more specifically Xianity. the story of Jesus was s symthisis of stories from different religions that existed at the birth of the roman empire. the purpose of the story was to bring all the smaller religions of rome together with a story that all of them could relate to. at the time it was written it was never meant to be passed off as true. it is the story of Jesus personal jihad, his spiritual growth/awakening from just a man at the biginning to a realization that he was a son of god and that he could allow worldly things to fall away and live from that place within all of us that is god. that was the resurection of jesus. if they found evidence that he lived at all then it is the first. but it tells all xians that their perception of their religion that has been rammed down their throats since birth, is the wrong message. its a horrible thing to realize you have been misled your whole life. the good news is when you realize we are ALL sons of god, then it becomes about US becoming that person depicted in the Jesus story. in the story of jesus, WE are jesus.

Are you trying to say that taking land, killing its inhabitants and the like is acceptable if the army is stronger?  The zionists call themselves “Gods chosen people”.  How does this differ from “MAster Race”?  They use a fictional book, the bible, to take land that they say is theirs. Jews and Muslims have lived there peacefully for many years, but after ww2, they came in the millions, displacing inhabitants that where otherwise peaceful, using surplus arms supplied by the British and AMericans, conquering a larger, but very poorly armed force.  Your logic is skewed if you say that it is permissable for the stronger to conquer the weak.  That will lead to more religious zealotry and suicide bombers.  If your young daughter is killed by a foreign missle, and all you have was a bomb strapped to your body, then you have no choice.  Iran says it wants to develop technology for peaceful means.  I as the rest of the world, do not believe them.  But their neighbors are being invaded, so they feel they must make themselves stronger or fall as their neigbors did. Russia as well as China is providing aid to them. Despite this, we have strayed from the topic.  I was not able to watch this documentary, as we have no channel here.  Have you seen it, and did you agree with the filmakers?

i can’t argue with you. but that is the way people have furthured their populations for 10’s of thousands of years. the building of the roman empire is a great example. the country with the stronges army and the greatest will have always taken land from others. Sadam Housein tried to take Iran and Kuait, but the best armies won out. Now Iran is preparing to take Israel with nuclear weapons. i’ll bet if you learn the history of the ocuntry you are in now, it was taken from someone else at some point. Muslims invade eath other just like america took north america from the indians and the mexicans. right now there is a civil war in Iraq between two muslim factions. what makes that any different?

Your ignorance is astounding.  Please educate yourself by reading the history of Israel.  Then maybe we can have a more intelligent discussion.  More Americans should do that.  But, then, maybe you will understand.  Your people stole land that they now occupy, and when the rightful come to reclaim it, your people call them illegal aliens.  It is you that are the illegal aliens.  Your culture says that black Americans like to steal.  You whites are the biggest theives, stealing land and killing the inhabitants and forcing its survivors to live in substandard lands until they starve, like the Israelis.

Much of what you have said about Muslims is vile and fabrications.  That is why Americans are reviled worldwide, as are the Israelis.

You are brainwashed and mislead by your Jewish run media.  More young children and women have perished at the hands of Israeli guns and missles supplied by the US govt, and many innocent Iraqis have been killed by indiscriminate strafings by your military.  Many have died for your American “freedom”.  In modern times, this “freedom” your American soldiers fight for on foreign soil has claimed more lives than anything else occurring in the recent years.  You are deluded, my friend.  I suggest that you open your American mind and not be blinded by the hate that is pumped into your brain by the Jews that run your presses.  Look at the numbers of those innocents killed by Zionists and American weapons.  They far outnumber those of the terrorists.  Israeli receives more aid which is used for weapons than any other country the US gives aid to.

Oh, hullo, Dennis.  After reading what you have posted and seeing that you have assumed me to be Muslim, then I in turn will assume you to be an American.  I base this on your generalizations of those who practice the Muslim faith.  If the Muslims, all of them, decided to act in ways that are terroristic, then this world will be on fire.  But of course, no country as of late has invoked the wrath on many countries and its people (Muslim and non) as the United States.  I watch what occurs in the U.S. and I applaud.  I see that the citizens that live in the border with your southern neighbor are rapidly becoming the minority.  I am filled with glee that huge numbers of people that you abhor are migrating en masse into your country.  In a few generations, the country that you know now will cease to exist.  This pleases me greatly.

well hello my muslim brother. you are right about some things; the story of Jesus came mostly from greek and roman mythology. there was another version of Xianity called Gnostisisim, (or the Gnostics), which taught that god/ala is within all of us. in other words we are ALL alike in that way. believing that jesus walked on water and all that stuff is just silly isn’t it? i have an idea. lets all devote ourselves to some guy who lived 1400 years ago and wrote down a whole lot of rules for us to follow; like women are crap; men are superior to women, if a kid steals you can cut his hand off, everyone else who thinks differently has to die, if you die while killing a Xian or Jew then you go to heaven where your family will join you and you’ll be happy with your 72 virgins, you have to pray 5 times a day to keep your faith, and you would like nothing better then to live like we were back in the 6th century. you are right mohamahd; you have found the “truth” while all the rest of us are going to “hell.” your religion is based on mythology just like the rest; arent you taking it a little too seriously with the whole “blowing people up” thing?

For the real truth on the United States, you should read The People’s History of the United States by Howard Zinn.  Louise, this is not, as you say “the best country in the world,” but rather the strongest with runners up eager to take its place (and for good reason) – strongest only because with its Christian values it can destroy the world with its arsenal of bombs, missiles, and WMD’s paid for by the poor and middle class America while the rich CEO’s steal from honest working tax payers.  And oh, don’t let me get started on VP Cheney and Haliburton and the others stealing tax payers’ monies in the billions of dollars.  “Thank God for Christian values,” huh?
The United States is a nation that believes in “freedom of the human being,” really?!  When did the United States give descendants of Slaves the funds to leave the country and rebuild their lives in friendly countries more tolerant than the US?  When that happens, I will agree with your concept of “freedom of the human being.” The US is “considerate of others?” You have got to read that book!!!  As we debate, the US is occupying another nation’s country on lies, and has the world turning against it.  Ironically, the people of Iraq wish Saddam Hussein were back.  Their country is in turmoil and their children are horrifically disturbed because of US’s most considerate, Christian values.
You can forget about the “life, miracles, death, and resurrection of Jesus,” as that is obviously all make believe.  The CREATOR GOD is what the Heaven and Earth is all about now, and HE is taking back HIS Universe and replenishing it with HIS Ways of Righteousness, peace, and happiness.  And the sooner HE eliminates all evil and wickedness, exploitation, chaos and confusion, senseless death and destruction, despair, hatred, disease, pollution, and suffering and misery, the better, because your so-called “Son of God” is out to lunch.

Well, well, well, Louise, how we do delude ourselves.
If there were all this documentation on the so-called “Son of God” before and after his so-called coming, we really wouldn’t be having this debate, now would we.  Why, your man-god hasn’t even come forward to help you defend him.  But I know well about what you make reference to:  Isaiah 7th where “a virgin shall conceive.” Well, she conceived in Isaiah 8th Chapter.  And then there’s Isaiah 53rd Chapter Christians use to so-call prove that the “Old Testament” made mention of him.  Isaiah 53rd Chapter is no reference to the man-god but a reference to the accursed Children of Israel, all twelve Tribes who were doomed to suffer for forsaking their GOD of Israel and defying HIS LAW.  The so-called “Son of God” did not make his grave with the wicked (53:9), but the Israelites did, and there was no rising into GOD’s Heaven for them or for anyone for that matter.  You see dying and going to GOD’s Heaven is just another segment of the Christian Myth.  And unfortunately, no amount of faith in LIES can manifest any good.  There is but ONE GOD, the CREATOR, and HE is a “Jealous GOD” and will not give HIS Glory to another (Isaiah 42:8).  Why do you think HE wrote the very First Commandment:  “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” This Commandment is totally disregarded with belief, faith, and hope in a man-god called “Jesus.”
CHRISTIAN VALUES!!!  Let me tell you about Christian values, Louise!  In the name of Christianity, the United States annihilated Native Americans and spread Small Pox among them in addition to a zillion other incredible evils, forcibly migrated and ethnically cleansed Blacks out of Africa for centuries for the sake of greed, breeding, and lust without mercy or any amount of compassion.  And the country was built on their blood, sweat, tears and death while they had no way out and while the so-called “Son of God” turned a blind eye.  In later years this wonderful Christian country dropped two atomic bombs on innocent men, women, and children while their flesh dripped from their bodies in the name of Christianity?  At this very moment wounded soldiers out of Iraq aren’t getting the special care and therapy they need after going to Iraq to take control of the Arab oil fields for President Bush while our young men are delivered back to the States in body bags to the tune of fifteen and twenty every single week – in the name of Christian values, right?

What’s this?  There is so much documentation of Jesus life, death and resurrection, both before and after He lived, and as He told us so many times “Your faith has healed you!”, it is also an important matter of faith.

What has been uncovered is quite a stretch, but then, that’s Hollywood...the land of make-believe.

Thank God for Christiam values...it is what made our nation the best country in the world.  We are a nation that believes in freedom of the human being, as long as we are considerate of others as we live out our life according to our own choices.  And anyone who believes the nonsense that all the powerful and perfect systems in nature, including ourselves, all happened by some random explosion, has obvious no respect for nature or God or anything else.

So much more points to the life, miracles, death and resurrection of Jesus than any of this nonsense will.  KEEP THE FAITH!!!

i read a study recently where it compared the percentage of the population that claimed to be christian, catholic, islamic, etc. with the percentage of the population that were incarcerated for different crimes in the ocuntries prisons. the beliefs that were grossly under represented in prisons were angostics and atheists. the only reasonable conclusion is that more people commit crimes BECAUSE of or INSPITE of their religious beliefs, than those who disbelieve. goodness, kindness, and love comes from within all of us as a natural course of nature, not from the religions that only cause people to take sides.

The world is a much better place with christianity in it, than it is without it.  The way this article (press release?) is written, appears very insulting to christianity, now that I’ve re-read it.  “And, get this, Jesus sired a son with Mary Magdalene,” is just a left-handed way of saying your Lord kept the company of whores and is a fraud!

Cameron is on shaky ground here… the catholic church is over 1 billion strong (there are about 6 billion people on the planet right now), who believe in the Bible and with all it’s inconsistencies.  And I would like to point out that the Old Testament has as many unprovable mythological events in it as the New Testament, so don’t get smug!

Despite all it’s mysteries and inconsistencies, the New Testament teaches us to love God and one another.  (I would have written that the Old Testament teaches the same thing, but I haven’t read all of it yet).  To call christianity into question in an attempt to dismantle it, is playing with fire!  Many people would throw the moral teachings of Christianity into the fire if they believed that Jesus’ life was a fraud.  What would society be like without forgiveness, which is the point of Jesus’ life and Christianity in general?

And why did it take 20 years to decipher the names on the tombs?  It would seem to me that the DNA results will prove that the inhabitants of the tomb are related to each other, and as has been pointed out earlier, the names are common for that time in history.  So Cameron’s “documentary” will have proved nothing about Jesus Christ’s life and teaching, but he will have planted a seed of doubt…

I would much prefer to live in a world governed by moral beliefs than in one where anything and everything goes.

i believe the truth is that hell is depression/a bad mood, heaven is happiness and joy, there is no judgment, god is an extension of string theory, we live and then we die and are buried, we have the power through quantum physics to determine what our lives turn out to be, (desire acting on the universe), and i, raised in a strict baptist home, don’t have a problem with any of that.

i have love in my live, i have hope for my future, i havent robbed any banks or killed anyone, and all without religion in my life. imagine that!

I’ve spent the last four hours reading all the comments on this page, and page 2 of this article (press release?), and I have to say I am really happy to have read everyone’s thoughts… very intense discussion for the most part.  I’m not exactly sure why I am adding my comment, but it is a topic that I’ve thought deeply about for most of my life…

I grew up a christian.  As a kid, I actually sought church out.  I went to as many different churches as I could find.  I also read the Bible, and I believed unquestioningly much of what I heard in those churches, although I was able to tell when they were just covering up the truth… like when they told me to be a rainbow girl all i had to do was memorize a certain passage, that I didn’t need to know what it meant!  So I detected some insincerity, but that was alright with me since the insincerity didn’t come directly from God.  But i digress…

So… when the Jehovah’s Witnesses knock on my door, I answer it because it’s an opportunity to ask some basic questions, and they might have an answer… questions like:  How could God create the world and everything in it in just six days! And if he created the first people, Adam and Eve, then where did Cain’s wife come from?  I know, the Bible says he took a wife from the land of ... Knod I think?  I really got scared when I read past the first few chapters in the Old Testament, so I admit that I skipped ahead to the New Testament, but I got really confused there too!  An immaculate conception?  No! That just flies in the face of science, we all know how babies are made, and to be honest about it, I wasn’t pleased to read that Eve (who represents the female line), was fashioned from one of Adam’s ribs!  Well gosh, even that sounds fantastic!  When I read about Jesus’ life and teachings, my heart was touched with love, but I have a hard time believing he rose from the dead, and assended into hell (where IS that place), for a few days before he came back to earth and eventually arose into heaven (don’t have a clude where that is), saying he’d come back again one day!  Whew, I think I hit all the major points… oh, there is one other thing that confuses me, satan… who is this person and what does he look like?  The Witnesses talk about him as though he were alive today.

I did figure one thing out… the Bible doesn’t mention dinosaurs because the writers didn’t know about them… but we do!  The fact that the Bible ommitted dinosaurs got me to thinking about the other incongruities.  And I have to say, I don’t have the answers, and I’m pretty sure no one else does either.  In fact, the way I think of it is that if there is a God, he might not have allowed us to be confounded by such a book, and he certainly would not have wanted us to fight over our ideas of who and what he is.  I don’t think we are smart enough to know the mind of God… I think it is arrogant to presume that we do.

I don’t think we will ever prove the existence of God, or prove that he doesn’t exist.  As for Jesus, we know that he existed, and in a way, I think that he is the son of God, just as we all are children of God, whoever, wherever God may be.  Someone once told me that each prophet came in their own time to take humankind one step closer to God, a time when we were all ready to hear it… Moses, Abraham, Jesus, Mohammad… they each taught us something we needed to learn.  Jesus taught forgiveness, Mohammad taught obediance.  There may even be prophets yet to come before this is all over, come at their own time when humankind is ready to learn.  I liked that explanation of things, it makes sense to me on a deeper level.

Well, that’s my two cents.  Thanks for reading this, and what ever your concept of God is, even if you don’t believe in one, may you know peace and love throughout your life.

Actually before anyone wants to delve into all those “staggering” comparisons, you might find out they arent all that close whatesoever.
Check the url below for an article with links to the full stories ( legends ) of these “gods” and the true comparisons before judging.
Whether Christian or Athiest ( whatever ) never let something influence you without fully having knowledge of the true story behind the claims, no matter how much you would like to believe it or how much easier it would make it “not to believe”.

Anyone who will believe that the CREATOR GOD of this Wondrous Universe would reduce HIMSELF to this shameful image of a totally useless mere man called Jesus deserves to be deceived!

JC lied about a Kingdom being established in his generation, and he lied about being sent to the “Lost Sheep of the House of Israel.” And more importantly, he lied about suffering so that others would not.  This entire world suffers from cancer, disease, pollution, mourning, depression, crime, sorrows, sadness, depression, impoverishment, hunger, and the list goes on.  Where is JC?  People need to wake up and learn the Truth!

There is but ONE CREATOR, and HE was first to say it.  If the CREATOR GOD asks, “Is there a God beside me?  Yea, there is no God:  I know not any,” (Isaiah 44:8) how then can anyone give credence to the Christian “Trinity”?

The CREATOR GOD of the “Old Testament” is adamant about being the ONE True GOD.  HE said, “I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour” (Isaiah 43:11).  Why then does the “New Testament” insist that the “Son of God” is the “Saviour of the World”?

The whole of the “New Testament” is total fabrication!  And during these days, much more astounding information will be revealed.

It’s funny in the quest for fame that the most obvious explanation was ignored. Jacobovici found the tomb of a wealthy family of Jesus followers who named their children after Jesus and his siblings. And yes, one of the daughters was named Mary. The Patriarch and Matriarch were named Joseph and Mary, which were very common names at the time. How silly to ignore the obvious.

1)Either Jesus was a real person and maybe the bones are his; which means he was just a mortal swinging dick like the rest of us.
2)His whole existence is a myth, like all religions, and the bones are just bones.
3)Either way, all religion is complete fairytale nonsense causing untold harm and stupidity in the world.

Was Judas betrayed Jesus or was he Jesus’ benevolent ?

Dear Friends in 21st century cyberspace,??I have heard Christ quoted as saying...."This is My commandment...that you Love one another..”

....And then there’s ...."Judge not, lest you be judged, for by that with which you judge, you shall be judged.....Therefore, send not to remove the mote from thy neighbors eye till thou hast removed the log from thine own..”

And then, later in history, the great, successfully non-violent leader from India, Mohandas Ghandi, said....."Be the change you wish to see in the world”.........

That 11th commandment is my personal favorite.....with or without religion....Love One Another is such a Good Idea...So Worth the effort.....

.......If we humans will work on this “Love One Another” thing, we Will Begin to See the True needs of humanity (that’s us, folks).....and, thereby, Begin To Grow Up For Real......This is difficult, demanding, and challenging Work..keeps one internally awake, and very busy.......best job I ever had.....Looking for work??.....Plenty of openings....(and the wages are terrific!;-)

........As you think, so you become.....now, there’s a thought........?Whatever your Spiritual persuasion.....God Is (still) Love....war (in any form) is (still) hell.....Strive On. Please.

jesus ?

-was born on December 25th.
-was considered a great traveling teacher and master.
-had 12 companions or disciples.
-performed miracles.
-was buried in a tomb.
-after three days he rose again.
-his resurrection was celebrated every year.
-was called “the Good Shepherd.”
-was considered “the Way, the Truth and the Light, the Redeemer, the Savior, the Messiah.”
-was identified with both the Lion and the Lamb.
-his sacred day was Sunday, “the Lord’s Day,”.
-he had his principal festival on what was later to become Easter, at which time he was resurrected.
-his religion had a Eucharist or “Lord’s Supper.”

If you guessed Jesus Christ, well, YOU’D BE WRONG!! HE WAS… MITHRA, a Roman-Persian God who existed hundreds of years before Christ.

("He who will not eat of my body and drink of my blood, so that he will be made on with me and I with him, the same shall not know salvation.” This inscription to Mithras, which parallels John 6:53-54, is inside the Vatican in the tomb of Saint Peter.)

and

- God was his father
- He was born in a cowshed.
- A human woman, a virgin, was his mother.
- His birth was prophesized by a star in the heavens.
- At a marriage ceremony, he performed the miracle of converting water into wine.
- He was powerless to perform miracles in his hometown.
- His followers were born-again through baptism in water.
- He rode triumphantly into a city on a donkey. Tradition records that the inhabitants waved palm leaves.
- He had 12 disciples.
- He was accused of licentious behavior.
- He was killed near the time of the Vernal Equinox, about MAR-21.
- He died “as a sacrifice for the sins of the world.”
- He was hung on a tree, stake, or cross.
- After death, he descended into hell.
- On the third day after his death, he returned to life.
- The cave where he was laid was visited by three of his female followers.
- He later ascended to heaven.
- His titles: God made flesh. Savior of the world Son of God.
- He is “God made man,” and equal to the Father.
- He will return in the last days.
- He will judge the human race at that time.
- Humans are separated from God by original sin. The godman’s sacrificial death reunites the believer with God and atones for the original sin.

Did you guess Jesus Christ? Well, again you’d be WRONG!! HE WAS… OSIRIS-DIONYSUS, an Egyptian God that existed thousands of years before Christ allegedly came around

face facts - jesus died. the only way he rose to heaven is if ‘aliens ‘ took him.

It’s hard to address the validity of Cameron’s claims without examining the accuracy of the Biblical accounts; the evidence for either is equally non-existent.  How can you talk about a “Son of God” with any authority when the very concept of a god is a primitive, anthropocentric, notion that is devoid of foundation, either scientifically or intuitively?

I’m curious about the DNA. I’m no scientist, but as I understand it don’t you have to have a familial tie to use DNA to identify? Don’t you have to have a marker from a parent, or a marker from a relative on the maternal side to verify identity? And if that is the case, what DNA marker could be used to identify Jesua as Jesus, the original? Was one of the Mary’s identified as the Mother of Jesua? If so, how do we identify her as Mary, the original? Original being defined as the two persons in the bible called Jesus and his mother Mary.

I’m really curious, anybody out there know?

I know nothing about this other than what is presented here and in this link.  I would like to comment on the objection to the effect that Jesus couldn’t afford an expensive crypt.  The Bible itself claims that a rich man, Joseph of Arimathaea, took charge of Jesus’s corpse and provided a tomb for it.  There are several possible circumstances, aside from this one, that might serve to explain how Jesus’s family could end up in an expensive crypt.

How could they tell it was Jesus? Did they ask God to give a cheek swab to establish the DNA connection?

To say that someone called Joshua (or Jeshua) and someone called Miriam (or Mary) died in Jerusalem is like saying that someone called Bob and his wife Ann died and were buried in Chicago. Joshua, Miriam, Judah etc. were very common Jewish names.

And just in time for Easter, huh? How convenient.
