WASHINGTON - Audio recordings of former White House aide I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby’s secret grand jury testimony will be released publicly after they are presented at his trial, the judge at Libby’s trial ruled Monday.

In a victory for the news media, U.S. District Judge Reggie Walton said he had little choice but to make them public under the law as applied in the federal court system in Washington, D.C, even though he has concerns about releasing the recordings while the case is under way.

I find it disturbing that the judicial system can be so corrupted to let this matter go to trail in the first place. Is it ironic that a CIA agent that uses her position to give her husband a job that he has no qualifications for, and is a matter of national security is given such notoriety by the liberal press, yes I am sure she and her spouse will ride this wave for quite some time. I am praying that the family of Mr. Libby is given the strength to get through this ordeal and he will be vindicated.

Could the Libby trial lead to further disclosures and legal actions against people in the Bush administration?

It is very possible. The trial is educating the public and preparing us for further disclosures.

Is Cheney legally vulnerable? Could be.

It will be interesting how the Bush Administration will spin on this one, the thing is that Chaney and Bush wanted war and even if 9/11 had not happened this country would have gone to war, the Super Hawk Dick “Shotgun” Chaney is the brains behind this administration and even the “decider” is not a decider that belongs also to congress.
