Blair and Bush width=

Tony Blair is coming under intense domestic pressure to convince Bush to enter talks with Iran—and avoid a war with “unthinkable” consequences.

BBC:

A coalition of organisations has warned Tony Blair any military action against Iran would be disastrous.

Leading charities, faith groups and unions are urging the prime minister to put pressure on the US to enter talks with Tehran.

In a report, they say Britain should be doing all it can to avoid the “unthinkable” consequences of war.

The first time in human history there’s a poodle becoming a teacher of its master. This miracle will make its species so happy and it might become human being in several hundred thousands years to come !

Now the poodle wants to teach his master how to live like a human being. Bush is so lucky when having a loyal beast.

the point of view of neo-con:

its not that we want war ???

war, is a by-product of self defense !! Iran is a chief sponsor of Islamic extremism, they have already declared war on the west!!  only our fecklessness and cowardice, we refuse to face facts and admit we are in a long term global struggle is keeping us from doing the right think and bombing the nuke facilities, and the military facilities in Iran, that our supporting the killing of US troops in Iraq !!

whether its today or in 10 yrs, its only a matter of time before we are taking military action against our enemy’s in Iran !!

I leave you with the words of JFK- “The world is very different now. For man holds in his mortal hands the power to abolish all forms of human poverty and all forms of human life. And yet the same revolutionary beliefs for which our forebears fought are still at issue around the globe…Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty.” -John F. Kennedy, Inaugural Address, January 20, 1961   - how far the Dem’s have fallen for they would never such today

The day we attack Iran will be the real start of world war 3! The price of gas will go to at least ten dollars a gallon. Our economy will stop in it’s tracks! The citizens will be ready for a revolution and the government will start using their detention facilities that are in place and martial law will come to be! Then to defend itself Iran will use it’s missiles on our navy and allow us to nuke them tactically. Then the world will have had enough of us and the nukes will start flying from Russia and us and then the battle of armageddon will happen. Hope you’re ready.

People who don’t want a war against Iran should be talking to AIPAC, not Bush.

We need to start lobbying the Israel lobby.

AIPAC and the other big mainstream “pro-Israel” organizations want this war. If THEY changed their minds and started lobbying firmly against it, the whole thing would be stopped in a day.

Call AIPAC and tell them to tell Cheney and Congress to stop the Iran war train.

If it works, be happy, but then ask yourself: “why do I have to lobby the agents of a foreign government to influence my own government?”

Even if Blair were to completely agree with the appellants and beseech Bush with his strongest efforts to NOT attack Iran, the Bush-Cheney Team would not change their minds OR their plans for war on Iran.  Search for CONPLAN 8022 references yourself.
