From Haaretz.com

The office of the attorney general of Israel intends to charge President Moshe Katsav with rape and abuse of power. He will be allowed to present his case before charges are filed. Katsav has indicated he might resign if indicted.

BBC:

Mr Katsav denies allegations of rape and sexual misconduct made by several female employees in recent months.

The recommendation to indict him comes amid a flurry of corruption allegations against top-level Israeli politicians.

Mr Katsav’s lawyers said he was innocent and charges would be dropped after the attorney general heard Mr Katsav’s side of the story.

[...]Attorney General Menachem Mazuz’s office issued a statement saying there was enough evidence to support an indictment against Mr Katsav on charges of rape, harassment, abuse of power and obstruction of justice, among other crimes.

After reading the story about Israeli President Moshe Katsav agreeing to resign or face rape charges it reminds me of another country. Israel really is like a little USA!

Bush/Cheney were in favor of this animal act made by Moshe Katsav. No surprise because they’re at same level which is hatred towards human beings. Being coexist with animals is so difficult.

This is a nice curiosity item, like the shark that spat out the man.

And I’m glad that the guy’s a Likudnik. I would be equally happy to know that a piano had fallen on him, or that he had inexplicably burst into flames.

This is just the very tiny tip of the iceberg.

I do believe Terry is on to something!
Seems the right wing in any country seeks power over the weak (disarmed), women, children and puppies. Besides Iraq, New Orleans comes to mind.
You will not likely see the right wing go after the strong like Osama binLaden or Saudia Arabia, or China.

He got used to abuse human beings through animal forces. He and his fellows forget constant obligations of morality. He and those who hanged President Saddam Hussein are in the same level or equal to DEVILS.

Shocking, just shocking. And a religious man, no less – who knew? Who ever heard of a right wing religious nut doing nasty things in private?!?! A violent bigoted religious zealot – I thought that only happened with Christians and Muslims.

Interesting that he is in the right-wing Likud party, it seems that his predecessor also had issues--maybe there are correlations between corruption, aggression against the Palestinians, and the abuse of women.
