Robert Sheer’s column in the L.A. Times was the ONLY voice of Sanity in this era of a criminal White House and a compliant Congress, Supreme Court and bought and payed for Media. When his column was removed and Truthdig, I regained the firm, rational and well informed voice of Robert Sheer and found new “friends” on this site. Thank you for that and I support any Kudos this site may receive. You definitly have my vote!

Great Blog! You & Tom Degan’s Daily Rant are my favorites! Oh, and Alternet. Love that one too.

This is my favorite web-site. One of the other
Report thissites told me I was putting in too many comments.
I left and have not been back. Before I knew
about this web-site, or even had a computer I
had read some of Robert Scheer’s print material.
In fact I found Truthdig by putting Robert
Scheer in the address space and clicking go.
It’s Good to finally find someone with guts
enough to print the un-varnished TRUTH! Keep
it up.
P.S. The Articles were: America aided Saddam’s
dictatorship. U.S. supported Iraq when it had
weapons of mass destruction, invaded when it
didn’t. The other: Playing Footsie with the
Taliban.

re: 46236 My mother is very religious and conservative and I wouldn’t wanna break her heart knowing her son turned out to be a libertarian, atheistic, Bush-bashing secular humanist. You understand, don’t you? If she were dead and I lived up in Vermont, I’d fess up. I’m very jealous of you, you know. As it is, I think she might be on to me, anyway.

You have my vote for Mz. Universe of the Blog Universe, or BlogOscar—-whatever it is. Your feature of posting the latest entry at the top of the list is very helpful for those of us with slowpower software who take minutes to plummet to the bottom of a list we have already seen.
The range of your subjects and perspectives is very good as well. The notice of a new posting is very helpful too on the e-mail post.
I am only 2 years in to active e-mail and blog universe explorations but am puzzled how many (?) whom I suppose to be human beings, and U.S. citizens in some cases, are inclined to hide behind fake names and anonynimity. Up here in Vermont people speak their mind and put their name to their statements. Maybe one of your writers could chew on this subject. Are we becom- ing a nation of cowards because of this Homeland Security trash under an illegal president appointed by 5 Fascist/Republicans on the U.S. Supreme Court or what? It is time to stand up,do battle and not to hide in a hole with the coward,
