Tensions in Iraq were already running high with the execution of Saddam Hussein and the ongoing violence there. Now Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki has scolded Sunni clerics for warning that militias were planning to attack Sunni neighborhoods in Baghdad.

Reuters via Yahoo:

Iraq’s prime minister accused a leading Sunni Muslim clerics’ group on Friday of stoking tension by saying that militias were preparing attacks on Sunni neighborhoods in Baghdad.

The Muslim Clerics’ Association, an umbrella grouping of religious leaders of Iraq’s Sunni Arab minority, said in a statement on Thursday that militias linked to an unnamed political group were planning attacks.

“The statement from the Muslim Clerics’ Association is totally baseless and raises tension, and we hold the Muslim clerics responsible for any action that results from this,” said a statement from Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki’s office.

First of all these guys have to find the way out of Iraq before it was too late.

Try to look back over 30 years ago when Vietnam collapsed, most of Saigon government officials flew out the country for their own safety with tons and tons of gold.

P.M. Maliki and his surroundings must learn the Vietnam bloody story and stay away from the so-called ALLIES. They will surely escape Iraq when the bad becomes worst and leave your guys behind without compassion. There’re absolutely no REFUGEE CAMPS in the future !

Becoming the Iraqi Prime Minister, is like dying and going to hell—what a punishment!

He says that he doesn’t want a second term, and he wouldn’t mind an abbreviated first term—-at this point, Maliki probably just wants to get the hell out of Iraq.

Bush, don’t forget to give Maliki a call when the US helicopter lands on the roof.
