The outgoing defense secretary admitted in an interview that he hadn’t read the Iraq Study Group report—only the executive summary. Isn’t Bush the one who doesn’t read?

Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, Wolfowitz, Feith, et al make a perfect arguement for why abortion should be legal, and even in their cases required. The world would be much better off if none of them had never been born.
Why is ‘rummy’ still even hanging around? Why doesn’t he take the $5 million he made last year profiting off the bird flu fear tactics and just go on a permanent vacation...say to France...or Germany. Oops! I forgot he can’t go there because the Germans have found him guilty of war crimes. Maybe the people of the US should shove him on a plane and do our own ‘extreme rendition’. Truly a quid pro quo, and one he has earned by his terrorist attitude toward the world’s people.
As far as him writing a book maybe that would be a good idea since I notice my supply of toilet paper is running low.

the report is something like 143 pages - President Bush said he read it - how much would you bet against that he simply lied in saying that he read it?
Rumsfeld has short-timers disease - he’s almost gone private, wealthy, never gave much of a crap in any event - he knows the President needs weeks to decide if he should change hiw underwear ... why should Rumsfeld read something that he won’t get to act on ...... although it should matter to every citizen who cares abour our soldiers at the front, much less the Defense Secretary who single-handedly botched several parts of the Iraq war/occupation?

He doesn’t know how to read even with such kind of scrap paper made by Iraq Study Group.

Of course he is not going to read it! Shrub did’nt either. It tells them what they don’t want to hear. That they screwed up!!! Big Time!!! That the USA is now in a deep quagmire created by them. Notice how he said “He has cooperated with it” in the past tense...as in ‘Yeap I heard ya, now I’m going to do what I was doing before’. Remember it was asked of Dick Cheney, ‘knowing what you know now, would you do anything different had you to do it over?’
Report thisHis reply was ‘No, I would do the exact samething’. (paraphrasing). Is that not what Einstein called ‘insanity’? do the same thing over and over expecting different results!.
These people are stubborn old fools! Sad part is that they fooled 51% of the population in ‘04.

This is disgusting. A clear example about how dedicated Rumsfeld is to the War in Iraq. What a horrible shame. There is so much angst and disgust going on in the Bush Administration right now that Rumsfeld, most likely out of spite, shed himself of all responsibility or care of the mess he helped create.
He hasn’t read the report. Instead he skims through reports on the report.
Disgusting.

“....every six to eight weeks he meets with a cluster of people.....” Where they all get bombed on raw power, and......well, do what people in a “cluster” have been famous for at least since Roman times.
Report thisRummy has just given us all a rare peek behind the curtain of this bizarre clique so slaphappily screwing around with the death-star instruments of the national security apparatus. Anybody still think the material world hasn’t been successfully hijacked by the “moral equivalent” of Caligula?
Anybody still believe you can simply VOTE yourselves off this lost island that’s beginning to make Dr. Moreau’s look like Gilligan’s.
Today the “message” is everyone’ll have to stay-tuned ‘til next year for the updated version of “The Rape of Iraq.” Apparently the marketing campaign for January’s whitewash still needs some tweaking.
Civilization has crossed the ‘event horizon’ of the howling black hole at the core of theamericandream. All your -isms are now -wasms. All your sucker-bets are off. This has been the ‘point’ of everything out of Rumsfeld’s mouth for the last nearly six years. Ready or not, people, here comes your “new paradigm”......just like the old paradigm only ramped and ‘roided up to relativistic velocity. Call it “WARP SPEED.”
