Durst on Bush’s Reading HabitsPosted on Dec 12, 2006
Columnist and comedian Will Durst explores the irony of delivering a report to a president who doesn’t read. Of the Iraq Study Group’s 79 recommendations, Durst writes: “Unfortunately none of them involved the President and his entire Cabinet resigning, proving perhaps this study group should’ve studied more.”

The ISG suggestions only mask the inevitable, Iraq is in a civil war that will have to play itself out. The US can either be in the middle of this struggle or be standing on the sidelines, either way the result will be the same--the only difference will be when the Iraqi full scale civil war is fought. Time to leave Iraq, now!

Perfect analysis. The first solution is for all of the Bush Administration to resign. Of course, then they might be liable for war crimes, for which they are surely guilty, even with their suposedly forgiveness clause in the Military Comissions Act of 2006.
Of course Bush isn’t the stupid dolt that he portrays himself to be. That is how he always got OUT OF TROUBLE when a child. He gets people to feel sorry for him, then they don’t punish him for his dastardly actions, like blowing up frogs with firecrackers for fun and games. What kind of a mother raises her child without teaching him/her to respect other life no matter how small? Thanks Barbara, you did a wondeful job, raising a serial killer.
