70% Disapprove of Bush’s Handling of War

Washington Post:

Negative assessments of the war in Iraq—the central issue in last month’s midterm election—continue to hold down President Bush’s job approval ratings and could cast a pall on the final two years of his presidency.

In a new Post-ABC News poll, seven in 10 Americans disapprove of the way the president is handling the situation in Iraq—the highest percentage since the March 2003 invasion. Six in 10 say the war was not worth fighting.

While both gauges on the war have been negative since late 2004, Bush’s approval rating on Iraq has deteriorated further since early October, likely weakened by recent high-profile criticisms of the administration’s Iraq policy.

Impeachment was only off the table to calm down the electorate. If the investigations get far enough, and uncover enough, their could be investigations. But would they come fast enough to prevent the blanket pardons that are coming for all the neocon war criminals, to say nothing of Tom Delay, Jack Abramoff and the rest of the gallery of rogues that have plagued this country since Baker commandeered the election for the guy who’s sorry but t he’s trying to save.

I don’t think Bush cares a bit about polling results. After all, he talks to and seek guidance from higher father to whom only he is privy, and this is the problem in real world.

If you hear neocons and/or politicians talking god, run for cover before another disaster strikes.

I’m one of the 70+% who can’t believe that the BLOODBATH in Iraq continues. Bombings every day—LIFES LOST DAILY! Bushie ignores the REAL war. I’m for Impeachment, but it won’t happen with two years left. We don’t want Cheney either!
We need a leader-Dem or Rep- to STOP BUSH NOW!!
If no one is accountable, he’ll do as he pleases—obviously waiting til Jan to discuss his (?) “New Way Forward” or different terms for STAY THE COURSE. Don’t mention that HE IS WRONG. OR PULL ANY TROOPS OUT. IT"S HIS WAY OR NO WAY. HITLER OK!

I protested the war in San Francisco in February, 2003.  Seeing the writing on the wall, I left America for Europe in 2004.  I can honestly say it was the best decision I’ve ever made.

Back in 2004 when Bush won reelection many
people from other countries talked about how
dumb the American people was. It seem they
have not got any better. Don’t these people
read, and listen to the news. Plus the way
they were treated prior to this Criminal stink-
ing up the White House. I read an article that
stated Before the War began. Ex-Hussein pol-
itical adviser claim Iraq accepted Bush’s ulti-
matum before invasion. There should never have
been a War. Bush had to have a War to get Rev-
enge on Saddam for putting out a hit on Daddy.
Something else Bush Wanted to be the
Commander-in-Chief-of-The-First-War-of-The-
Twenty-First-Century. What does that tell you?

30 percent—that’s probably an exaggerated figure—I bet it’s more like 2 percent.

And still a third of the people in this doomed country of ours support this idiot. It’s just unbelievable. These, of course, are people who would cast their vote for Hitler himself as long as he ran on the GOP ticket. Dumbf**ckistan, indeed. God help us.

Somethings are just so blatant.  I can’t believe that so few in congress will even state that this administration needs all kinds of investigations and it is absurd that impeachment is off the table.  In fact this lack of action only means that those who place it off the table need to go.

I cannot imagine that thirty percent of Americans still support The Bush policies. Do they not realize the terrible expense Bush has foisted upon them? Every American citizen regardless of their financial situation will be paying for the horrendous deficit for many generations to come! Think people, your great-grand children will still be paying the American debt. That is, if there still is an America.

Was the other 29% undecided? I know there’s at least a hardcore 1% willing to stay the course. Oh, sorry we don’t use that anymore.
What disapproval percentage is necessary for impeachment or will we just endlessly “poll” the problem away?
