Tom DeLay Blogs, BrieflyPosted on Dec 10, 2006
Disgraced Congressman Tom DeLay reinvented himself as a blogger, briefly, before removing all posts and disabling comments. Guess it didn’t work out. I said the following in response to his absurd judgment of President Carter:
A christian who acted on moral imperatives.
A man who sought and seeks piece at any cost.
A man who let his career be ruined rather than risk the lives of his men.
A man who used and uses his position to enrich others.
A man who unified and still does.
A man who never used radioactive weapons on anybody.
A man like Nathan who is willing to tell his friends they are sinning.
Perhaps your standards are warped by the administration you served so well

CHECK OUT HOW MUCH $$MONEY$$ TOM DELAY RECEIVED FROM PRO-Israel PAC.
2005-2006= $26,000
Career Total= $112,050
What was the MONEY for? What favors did Tom Delay owe to the PRO-Israel PACS?
Jack Abramoff knew exactly what Tom Delay needed to reciprocate for equal+ favors!
Our elected official, Tom Delay, is a total disgrace for the American people. He was more loyal to Jack Abramoff, AIPAC & Israel than his country & the people of Texas.
May be George W. will pick Tom Delay as ambassador to Israel!!!

That twit (aka “pregnant goldfish”) needs to be fried in oil for the damage he’s done to this country.

Tom may be the poster-child for governmental corruption, but he is by no means alone. Torricelli (D N.J.,) Gingrich (R Ga)
Foley (R. Fla) is a child sexual predator who used his office to lure (at least one) victim
BUT, so dod Gerry Studds (D Mass)
The smell permiates both political parties, yet I see only negative R posts here.
Is Bill Clinton’s Pardon of FALN terrorists (to gain his wife hispanic votes) criminal???
What about unethical?

Comments moderated? I think they are more correctly cherry-picked. Only mild criticism is allowed i.e. “Tom, I know you have good intentions but don’t you think you made a mistake in Iraq?”

Completely shameless, and always ready to seize an opportunity.
Report thisHe’s the embodiment of the word “disgrace”.
Yet sadly, there will be the rubes and moneyed corrupt, ready to embrace him. Disgusting.

TOM DELAY (sobbing): My fellow Americans, before you today I stand a traitor. And I am deeply ashamed. I was a betrayer when I sold you out to corporate lobbyists - souls who hold no national allegiance, but who are devoted only to their crusades. I cheated your democracy when I auctioned my congressional vote. And when I laundered money for my own selfish gain. I deserve no less than complete dispatch. And as your public servant, I accept your full condemnation.

Like Duke Cunningham, wouldn’t you like to see him display the courage of admission? “I am a traitor.” Usually these guys are so slimed with denial, nothing sticks. And nothing stands up either, not truth, courage or loyalty to the American people. To call themselves conservative is to belie conservatism. They are common parasites. They are neo-bookie thugs. History must label them such.
Government has become myopic. It best envision the American People as the grandest lobbying group in the nation if it cannot yet see beyond K-Street. Or it will find not one, not one-hundred “Vs” standing before the Capitol. It will witness millions. All holding banners and signs that affirm, Dear Government No Answers, No Taxes! And they will mean it.

“Truth is mightier than the sword and allegiance more-so than the dollar. When neither is held true, upheaval lies undue.”
