President Bush’s meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki was postponed after the N.Y. Times disclosed U.S. doubts about the Iraqi PM’s capacity to control the civil war.

AP:

President Bush’s high-stakes summit with Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki was put off Wednesday after public disclosure of U.S. doubts about his capacity to control sectarian warfare.

The White House said the two leaders would meet Thursday.

The postponement was announced shortly after Bush arrived here for talks with Jordan’s King Abdullah II and al-Maliki. Bush’s meeting with the king was to proceed on schedule.

The Bush mess is a real growth industry.  Too bad it requires so much taxpayer money to make it go.  I suppose its part of the Ledeenesq creative destruction creed/cult—but its sad to see it visit what little there is of a rare bush diplomatic initiative, where in cowboy parlance its more like shooting one’s-self in the foot.  These bushies are always good for a laugh and except for the half million or so innocent people they have murdered, they never seem to run out of humerous mistakes to commit.  Whatever “GoD”  this guy is representing or claims to be representing certainly seems to enjoy rivers of blood, bombing wedding parties and blowing unknown infants into thousands of pieces while they sleep in their mothers arms,  what a god!!  What a president!!

What is going on in the oil colony, dammit?!? A puppet is no good if you can’t pull his strings. (I’m sure Dick Cheney is saying the same thing.)
