Democrats Are Set to Subpoena

With control of every committee in Congress starting in January, the Democrats are set to use their new powers to hold hearings on military spending and the Iraq war—and that’s just for starters. The L.A. Times gives you a guided tour.

L.A. Times:

WASHINGTON—Rep. Ike Skelton knows what he will do in one of his first acts as chairman of the Armed Services Committee in the Democratic-led House: resurrect the subcommittee on oversight and investigations.

The panel was disbanded by the Republicans after they won control of Congress in 1994. Now, Skelton (D-Mo.) intends to use it as a forum to probe Pentagon spending and the Bush administration’s conduct of the Iraq war.

It has been 12 years since Democrats were in control of both the House and Senate. But they are looking to make up for lost time, and in some cases, make the Bush administration and its business allies sweat.

With control of every committee in Congress starting in January, the new majority will inherit broad powers to subpoena and investigate. And that is expected to translate into wide-ranging and contentious hearings.

What needs to be exposed?

Corruption and profiteering

The manipulation of the electoral process including gerrymandering and the favoritism of the constitution toward rural areas.  This type corruption involved the Dimocrat Party.  They illegally prevented the Green Party from getting on the ballot in many states. We need universal and fair ballot access laws.  We need direct runoff voting and we need proportional voting. We need a new constitution.

Corruption and profiteering

The right wing ideology that favors fascism.

The corporate control of the country

We either break up the trusts or bring the trusts under democratic control

The mass media needs to be brought under state/we the people control or it needs to be totally broken up!!!

No one company can own more then ONE outlet anywhere!!!

Further there has to be made room on the airways for free licenses for any group of private citizens to start there own local radio or TV station.

The entire medical monopoly economy needs to be broken up. (All of the profiteers involved in corruption need to be jailed). There should be NO private research. All should be government funded and done at value neutral universities. NO MORE CORRUPT FUNDING BY INDUSTRY. Absolute ZERO profiteering in the health and well being of the population should be the law of the land. Every capitalist element in health care needs to be eliminated

LETS REALLY INVESTIGATE CORRUPTION AND PROFITEERING.  EVERYWHERE, NOT JUST IRAQ.

Remember how Rep John Conyers was send to the ‘House’ BASEMENT by the republican BULLIES, to hold ‘hearings’ on the “DOWNING STREET MEMO” [DSM] scandal ? He got NOWHERE with it!
How ironic, that he is going to be the committee chairman in charge of these kind of investigations and I am sure he is not going to “forget” his humiliating experience in the name of ‘bipartinship’ !
And by the way, whatever happened to the “ABLE DANGER” investigation ?
I am sure, just exposing all the sordid details of these and other numerous scandals, indulged in by these crooks and liars ( they will even put Nixon to shame !) will be enough to get the Dems re-elected in ‘08 !!
Let the ‘HEARINGS’ BEGIN !!!!

Simply stated, one person, one vote. The implication is clear those who vote are the Government, Corporations aren’t mentioned. The people are the Government not those lifeless entities. Those who are elected owe their Allegiance to the Constitution and to the people.

The definition of the word Allegiance, “The obligation of a Feudal Vassal to his Liege Lord.” THe Adoption of the US Constitution reversed this role and defines the obligation to be of the Government to the people. It is what makes we Americans so different, and the envy of many throughout the world. The Democratic Party must take us back to that state of affairs. No political party can act as a Lord or King. All must adhere to the Constitution if we are to continue to exist as an example to the world. The Executive branch must go back to its Constitutionally defined role. No more Signing Statements!

Make sure they know this is not “payback.” It is justice and avoidance of abject nihilism. None of this is comparable to the ‘98 “blue dress” affair. What’s at stake are crimes against humanity and very possibly WWIII. The war profiteers must be shown to their cells and the Strange Loves shown the noose!

Let’s hope they start flipping on their handlers and the investigators get to the bottom of the big one before they pull another spectacle—press for 911Truth and break their most manipulatively cynical weapon: false flag terror; break it before their faces—investigate, indict, prosecute and execute!

Show no quarter. At the first sign of weakness they will fall upon you with daggers drawn. Serve them nothing less than the full measure of the law! Constitutional crisis? You bet!  This madhouse needs shock therapy—it needs 911Truth!

The democrats should ask themselves what Joe do?
Joe Stalin that is. Impeachment, followed by long prison sentences, followed by of all the things seldom seen regardless of the crimes in DC - loss of pensions. My God ! The inhumanity of it all. Joe Stalin on the other hand would have sentenced each to the common Russian cure for most problems - 7 ounces of lead.

Those poor boys are being slaughtered in the ‘killing fields’ in Iraq is BECAUSE, they were send there on the basis of LIES and PROPAGANDA by this administration,(like fourty years ago in VIETNAM !)
Just because they VOLUNTEERED to serve, doesn’t give ANYONE,the right to USE THEM like CANNON FODDER !!!!
Bipartinship DOES NOT MEAN “to give in” or “to go along with” these crooks, criminals and thugs. Democracy DEMANDS that the truth and nothing but the whole truth be exposed.
The DAY of RECKONING is finally here!

Yes!  Of course George W. Bush will avoid any supeona, so impeachment is the only remaining choice.  Impeachments should immediately start for all the abuse of power.  I personally think that the election of 2006 was just such a statement.  We the people are sick of having war criminals for the executive branch.
