Israel OKs Gay March

The Israeli attorney general has approved a gay pride march in Jerusalem despite concern from police and condemnation from religious extremists.  During last year’s march, an ultra-Orthodox Jew stabbed three people.

BBC:

Menachem Mazuz said there was no legal justification for banning the march.

Mr Mazuz’s comments came after talks with senior police officers who had sought the ban because of concerns about public safety.

Ultra-Orthodox Jews have been holding angry protests against the parade and have threatened more violence if it goes ahead.

Mr Mazuz said he took the decision to authorise the parade “so that freedom of expression is respected” in Israel.

Oh Allen, you think Homosexuality and freedom to protest will eliminate the terrorists? What is a terrorist? (since you OBVIOUSLY don’t know, I’ll tell you) A person who uses force or the threat of force to achieve political, religious, or idealogical goals. Thus, those “ultra-orthodox” Jews are terrorists. Freedom to protest is great, but it’s not going to stop terrorism. Under the definition of terrorism, the USA is the biggest terrorist of them all. Then again, so is a schoolyard bully. Look inward, hypocrite, then tell us what you think.

Well yes they are Jews but so are the gay pride organizers and marchers to be. So the fact that they are Jewish is absolutely irrelevant. What is relevant is that there is at least one place in the middle east that actually protects civil liberties like the freedom of speech and the freedom to protest. That place evidently is Israel. And it is about time some of the Arab nations joined in on the party, then we might have a chance for a terrorist free world. Amen!

What is the purpose of this parade anyway. Don’t these people have enough on their plates to deal with already? This not about pride. It is about abusing freedom of expression. The next thing we wil be hearing from Al Queida or the KKK to have a march. Better to use the money to buy food for the poor Palestians (whose leaders are busy buying guns, real Estate and filling their Swiss bank accounts)

Jews perpetrating violence against members of a minority group they don’t approve of ... how quickly they forget!
