I was shocked to see that I could (and indeed was encouraged) to check in online with Southwest Airlines—this is the only way to get into the A or B status for seating priority. Then you are allowed to print your boarding passes. On your own printer. It does not take too much ingenuity to scan in a printed pass, edit it, and then create a fake pass under someone else’s name. I had intended to complain about this, but I had forgotten. Thanks for the reminder.
