This was predicted by many. The Israeli/US assault on Lebanon failed. We can only hope they learned a lesson and won’t be too quick to assault Iran.
The damage done to Lebanon is a war crime. See a good synopsis “Lebanon Damage Report 2006”

Report thisof its soldiers? It couldn’t because it was under orders from its master, the USA, to go for an all out war, the better to draw Syria and Iran in, therebye setting them up for an American &/or Israeli onslaught. Which means there shouldn’t be any question now as to which is wagging which, the tail or the dog.
