A brilliant overview of the dangers of the military/private contractor relationship. Now that much of this “war” is subbed out, we have created a “crack whore” environment into which the military actions are prosecuted. The asking price for collaboration will only go up.
Buying Iraqi loyalties by the column inch was not the purpose for the billions of American tax dollars sent into this fiasco. A million bucks to air one TV commercial in Baghdad ? Interns driving around the Red Zone with 3 mil in the trunk? Mr. Willem should expect a movie deal soon.
While filming recently in Jordan, I saw first-hand the results of private contractors’ “market research” in Iraq. Torture victims are now attempting to sue Titan and CACI for abuse while in their employee’s custody. However, no international law currently applies to these corporations.
“Iraq For Sale”, the new Greenwald expose will be screening across the country beginning October 8. Make an effort to see it.

The corporate media is not a place for you either. You would be doing exactly the same, but for different reasons and motivation.
