Keith Ellison
From KeithEllison.org

From the AP: “A state lawmaker could become the first Muslim elected to Congress after edging out three rivals Tuesday for his district’s Democratic nomination.” He fended off accusations about past associations with the Nation of Islam, which he has previously denounced.

AP:

A state lawmaker could become the first Muslim elected to Congress after edging out three rivals Tuesday for his district’s Democratic nomination.

Keith Ellison, 43, prevailed after overcoming questions about parking tickets, overdue taxes and his ties to the Nation of Islam. Because the district has long been dominated by Democrats, he will be a heavy favorite to win the Minneapolis-area seat in November.

Ellison courted the liberal wing of the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party by comparing himself to the late Sen. Paul Wellstone ? and many voters responded. Others relished the chance to elect a minority to Congress from Minnesota for the first time; Ellison is black.

What the Bush adminsitration failed to understand about a small group of Americans, they are intelligent.

Slowly, but surely this small group will fight back. They will, in time build momentum to prove what’s happened in the last five years has been an act of terrorism by the american government.

In time, portions of the truth will be brought to light. Those who supported this administration will then side with the now intelligent, because they will not want others to know how stupid they were for giving their support to a group of thieves.

Minneapolis citizens has for some time now proven itself as open-minded, all inclusive and very intelligent. Maybe it will take those citizens to pull this Vampire administration-which has been sucking the life out of America, into the light.

glad to hear it but i still want republicans to keep their majorities in congress this november so that team bush will be free to drive america over the cliff, allowing the country to then get off to a fresh start

if democrats win a majority at least in the house it will muddy the waters, considering how democrats themselves are warmongers who support israel’s own warmongering to the death provided it’s other folks’ kids who are doing the dying
