Richard, you sure are a funny liberal. I made the point that Democrats are hypocritical when it comes to the 1st Amendment--liberal speech is protected, Christian conservative speech isn’t. You didn’t even attempt to refute my claim, because, deep down in that liberal heart of yours, you know I’m right. You simply resorted to name-calling. You would fit right in with my son’s 2nd grade class!

“The Path TO 9/11” might be strewn with lies & distortions (insinuated as Clinton’s fault), but even worse than the run-up to the event is “The Path FROM 9/11” which is littered with the corpses of tens of thousands of mostly civilian victims (definitely attributable to Bush’s lunacy).
Also, we have now lost as many brave American troops as we lost civilians on 9/11, and in a war against Iraq that should never have been initiated in the first place.
Now our constitutional life-boat is in danger of being sunk by right-wingnut Christian religious fanatics every bit as evil as Islamic religious fanatics, and only intent on seeking the ‘rapture’. I say let’s make them happy, speed their personal quest for Armageddon, and chuck them all overboard. Or let them all just get their sadistic rocks off by water-boarding each other to death.
Frankly, I prefer rowing toward civilization and as far from oblivion as possible, but then I use logic, rational thought, true compassion, & intelligence in my decision making, rather than dogmatic antiquated religious information of questionable origin.
I watched the show on ABC tonight and will probably do the same tomorrow night just to see if I need to file a complaint against ABC with the FEC & FCC. The 1st Ammendement is specific about being non-partisan, and there should be no problem if ABC allows equal time for rebuttals. Since the airwaves are public property the other side of the aisle has a RIGHT to be heard instead of just being propagandized.
It’s just a shame “Farenheit 911” & “Loose Change: 2nd Edition” don’t get the same consideration by our right-wing controlled media. Let’s let ALL Americans see all three films and then make up their minds. If that isn’t the “American Way” of complete transparency then it should be.

ABC, like the other corporate media outlets are a joke. Their principle task is to spread rightwing and corporate propaganda...nothing else. The ABC will remain a joke regardless whether it pulls the mini-series or not.

Poor Hondo, loves to hate. How on earth could these kool aid drinkers be brought into the present and able to identify and assess facts and quit aiding and supporting this administration that is destroying this country by handing it over to corporate greed by the use of religious zealots. It is time for you 25% of the country to go back to a hill top and proclaim your righteousness to yourselves and get you religious superstition out of our crooked government.

Well the deception and lies about what really happened to one of the greatest Presidents this country will ever see was the Warren Commission’s Report on the Assassination of John Fitzgerald Kennedy....The report wanted us to believe it was one lone nut gunman who did the assassination on November 22, 1963 & they were able to foist this theory on the trusting ( but no more ) AMerican people......well if it worked once why not do it again it’ll work again....President Clinton did lie about his affair but what he did do to try and get Bin Laden is a fact my friends no matter how you try to spin it… The Republicans will never get over the fact that Clinton was first of all, an excellent President and beat them at their OWN games so they are so obsessed with him that they are trying to rewite history even now but it won’t happen like it did back 43 years ago because unlike committees of men locked behind closed doors we now have the Internet and bloggers who will call these liars to account and speak the truth to their lies and treason directed to AMericans who trust them to give them the truth......but unfortunatley the truth & innocence of America died one beautiful autumn day on the streets of Dallas, Texas. If people really care about what is happening to their country you have better turn off your reality shows which are made to distract you, turn off Fox News and now ABC News and start waking up to what is going on around you before it too late.Graveyards are filled with brave men and woman who fought wars for our freedoms.... Are you going to give them up without a fight? I’m not!!

Yes, ABC absolutely should yank the 9/11 miniseries off the air. It says right there in the 1st Amendment that freedom of speech and the freedom of the press shall not be abridged, unless the truth would be embarrassing to a liberal icon like Slick Willie. In that kind of situation, Democrats are allowed to use whatever draconian measure is necessary to abridge freedom of speech and freedom of the press. I swear it says that in the 1st Amendment. I heard Clinton say so, right after he swore he never had sex with that woman.

Isn’t this planet awash with enough USA-based misinformation already? Right from the moment those Puritans landed on the Rock, those in charge of the USA have been playing fast and loose with the FACTS of its development to the point that, for the most part, what today’s generation believes is closer to FICTION than anything else.
The “old West” is a perfect example… they sell it as if those of us who missed it really missed out on the most glorious and glamorous period in all history. I submit the vast majority of the time EVERYONE was dirty, cold and miserable and their time was fully occupied with trying to stay alive!
If any book or movie looks or appears to look like a documentary it should contain NOTHING but certifiable FACT… otherwise it should be clearly tagged as a FABLE. There’s no room for “literary license” in non-fiction.

what, yank vile, pandering trash from television? isn’t that what television is for? who ever thinks up these atrocities like “9/11 with commercials” should come clean about their intent. that ann coulter has violated the memory of that particular disaster beyond all embellishment does not mean there isn’t fodder enough for years of unwatchable dreck. if decency does not forbid, and it surely seems that it does not, i offer these vehicles of violation, for example: “gaza girls” “america’s next top moslem” “everybody hates osama” (or clinton or cheney or rumsfeld) or “everybody loves hatred” (or clinton or cheney or rumsfeld) or “housewives of darfur; talk about desperate” or “project runway;america’s funniest aviation disasters”. what mencken said.
