It’s awful! A lot of young girls do THIS secretly to “save their face”!

I’m almost convinced that the religious (f)right nut-bunch don’t want unmarried women/girls to have sex, thus the (f)rights are against abortion - its availability is the real reason unmarrieds have sex. NOT. But the REAL reason may be that a Virgin Birth must precede the Ra(u)pture - you can find anything in the bible. The more virgins the better the odds. Heavens, Mary had Jesus when she was eleven.

Take perhaps the most personal family issue imaginable and your new Government forms and your wife and daughter to a notary public and get on line.
Now, hope the persone sitting behind the desk does not DISSAPPROVE of your difficult and personal decision. Hope that they ALLOW this decision to go forward. Your Notary Public might think “killin babies is wrong”.

I guess they want more unwanted babies roaming the streets and getting mistreated… this is one step further into oblivion assholes. this is a low blow to minors forced into having sex by sick people.

Just checked. The age of sexual consent in Texas is 18, but they can legally have sex at 17 as long as their partner is no more than two years older.
I believe that Texas has one of the highest rates of teenage pregnancies in the country, so they haven’t been able to stop that. They’ve just made it illegal.
Law and order on the march!

The poor little girls. They’re already in a terrible situation and they not only have to have parental permission to have an abortion if they are younger than eighteen but now they have to have it NOTARIZED. Even more people get to know.
What is the age of sexual consent in Texas, fourteen or sixteen? If they are legally allowed to consent to sex, can’t they also be legally allowed to consent to an abortion?
Something is very wrong here.
