The Fertility GapPosted on Aug 22, 2006Liberals will continue to lose ground in American politics as long as conservatives continue to outbreed them, argues a Syracus University professor in the Wall Street Journal. (The blue/red baby gap is much bigger than you’d imagine.)

I belive we are the higher power which should make us have defeat the control over what these religious assholes have done and love and appreciate one another even more. Hey, we don’t have to outbreed them. My step- and adopted kids are as liberal as I am. Without any breeding at all on my part, I’ve helped to “reproduce” five little liberals. Adopt, I say, adopt!

Just because the parents are conservative doesn’t mean the children will turn out to be the same. My parents are Southern Baptists, I’m an atheist. My dad votes Republican most of the time, I have never voted Republican.

This depresses me. The forces of rediculous religion still have millions convinced that to procreate willy nilly without regard to societal impact is a holy, righteous imperative to be rewarded in heaven.
God, save us from your “faithful”. They know not what they do.
This is part of the reason why talk of abstinence-only education and condom availability suppression (in the third world!!!, not to mention the first) makes my blood boil.
