Another Conservative Revises Iraq Thinking

Rich Lowry, editor of the National Review, indicated in a column on Tuesday that Iraq could turn into another Vietnam. This, after arguing in 2003 that the comparison was “wishful thinking” on the part of war critics.

Of course, being a hawk, Lowry offered the analogy in the hope of escalating the war, rather than ending it: “For there is one other similarity with Vietnam that should be avoided — the aching sense that not everything was done to win the war. By the end of Vietnam, we had essentially beaten the insurgency and could have helped the South Vietnamese hold off the conventional invasion of the North, if we hadn’t given up.”

Of course.

And now, in his new role as a “war critic”, he and the other Israelmaniac traitors will offer us McCain vs. Hillary in the next election — both of them equally committed to the AIPAC plan to destroy America by forcing us to expend the rest of our military strength and max out our national credit card for Israel.

It won’t matter which wins — the Israelis will win, and we will be destroyed for them. Aren’t we a nice ship of Shaygetz fools?

I have concluded that the rightwingers have no brain..they are guided by their ideology borne of years of brainwashing and greed. So Lowery now sees what others saw from the get go…are we supposed to say, yay! People like lowery are being paid to trumpet the cuase of rightwing as long as they can.
