Hezbollah Leads Lebanon ReconstructionPosted on Aug 16, 2006Hezbollah, flush with cash from Iran, has already begun the work of reconstruction in Lebanon, enhancing its reputation in the country. Hezbollah’s leader, Sheik Hassan Nasrallah, promised a year’s rent to anyone who lost their home during the conflict, and hundreds of Hezbollah members have been spotted surveying and clearing damaged property.

If we had a Hezbollah in this country, maybe the Katrina victims would have somewhere to turn for real assistance.

I don’t like Islamists or any other fundamentalist but must say Nesrallah has impressed me as competent and educated and a bit like my grandfather who was a Hasidic Rabbi. It is always shocking to see the “enemy” much more intelligent than George Bush.
