These criminals coporations would stoop to anything to lie and scam the public to get what they want. They control the government, the congress, the courts, and the rest.

If the film that these people made is true, then why did they try to hide their involvment?  Sounds like another Rovian attempt to spin and manipulate us - Al Gore doesn’t have an actor’s skill at presentation, but that doesn’t in any way mean that his message isn’t the scary truth.
There are a lot of Bush Pioneers who paid good goddamn money to make sure that those pesky environmental statutes get changed and stay changed so they can haul in as much cash as they can before it all comes tumbling down.  This is a calculated job - That huge surplus was just too much of a carrot, and War is a wonderful opportunity to make big money if you’re assured of getting those no-bid contracts! After all, we KNOW Dick Cheney would never do anything wrong or dirty, right?  And GW has always been such an honest and truthful guy!  When Jesus was asked by his disciples how they would recognize other christians, he said “You will know them by their fruits”.  Pretty rotten fruit, you guys.  Crappy economy that’s deeply in the hole (just who did get all that surplus $$$ anyway?) - an unnecessary and totally inept war (not the soldiers, God Bless them - just the ones who started it) - coverup after coverup - sneaking and gutting our Constitution while they wave their flags made in China.....the folks who read this blog know what I’m saying - the trick will be to get enough other people to get riled up enough to do something - I think these guys know they’ll be out in 2008 - knew it all along.  They had 8 years to clean out the nation’s savings account and set up the labor, pension and environmental laws in their favor so the gift that gave will keep on giving...And don’t forget how important to national security it is to get rid of that darn estate tax!  Why it’s just driving those muslims in Iraq crazy that those poor little rich people have to put up with so much here in the states!
I really do have so much pity in my heart for those poor oppressed millionaires and billionaires!  It’s a bitch to have to decide on the color of your next Porshe!  I wouldn’t know, since I work for minimum wage in a very depressed rural area that has been completely overrun with border patrol. Don’t know how safe I feel - I kind of feel like I’m living in a police state these days...can’t imagine why.

It turns out that one of Exxon’s top lobbyist is a former Bush appointee the the White House Council on Environmental Quality.  Philip Cooney.  While at the White House, he ‘edited out’ findings by government scientists that warned of global warming.  That was pretty controversial.  Before that, he was at the American Petroleum Institute where he the “Climate Team Leader”.
