CNN anchor
From CNN via YouTube

Interviewing a flack for the Israeli government about the killing of women and children at Qana in Lebanon, this CNN anchor channels Anderson Cooper with her refusal to meekly accept meaningless government platitudes.

Watch the sparks fly.

Those of you who are anti-Israel/pro-terrorist should read Ed Koch’s column about the present conflict. http://newsmax.com/archives/articles/2006/7/28/131856.shtml is the link. If you refuse to listen to a staunch conservative like myself, at least pay attention to Koch. He speaks the truth.

Hondo (16402), just because the Israelis have full support of the West, it does not mean that they are not a terrorist state. This battle is not between good and evil; it is between two peoples who want total victory and don’t realize that neither is going to achieve it——they are going to have to learn to live with each other.  The mess was created when the partition was created by the West(Brits). We need to stop taking sides and encourage peace(even if it takes generations to accomplish it!).

Hondo (aka, John Wayne): Never let facts get in the way of your Manichean Weltanschauung. Last I looked, Lebanese civilians aren’t terrorists, not even by your likely definition. Besides, I’m a leftist radical, hardly a liberal. And as an atheist, I “worship” no one or thing. I do, however, appreciate courage in the face of the same corporate media that employs the anchorwoman. Thanks,

Hondo, that’s rich coming from a person with the party who supports and finances Saudi Arabia which funded the 9/11 hijackers, sell us out to communist China even as their treating their people like animals, outs the CIA, and oh yeah, doesn’t care where Osama bin Laden is.

This is CNN International.  These are the actual journalists who hold government officials accountable and ask real questions.  Sorry you’re not used to that from Faux News.  Nice of Israel also to hit the UN post.  Israel has gone too far, and they’re lying to the public saying they’ve taken out over half of Hezbollah, when that is an outright lie, you can never know until the rockets come less and less, which they aren’t, they’re gaining, and they’re also not prepared to go to war with Syria.  Israel has no clue what they’re in for, nor do they care.  They’re unfortuantely going to get their asses handed to them at the expense of everyone else.  No matter what they say, unless they’re prepared to go all the way… Iran, this is a band-aid operation, no matter what they say, which will not work.

I’m not surprised that liberals would be so ready to worship this anchorwoman. After all, she rigidly adhered to the liberal doctrine, which states that terrorists are victims, terrorists must be supported (no matter how many innocent people are murdered by those terrorists), and that anybody who dares to fight back against those terrorist is evil. In all battles between good and evil, liberalism will support evil every time!

CNN? I’m amazed! Damn, wish I’d caught it live. I don’t know the anchor, though I watch CNN fairly often. (I’m guessing CNN’s one-hour international news program, 9:00 AM PST, which I usually watch, though I didn’t catch this.) Notice comments posted at AOL link—surprise, surprise. Posts, as one might expect, slam the anchor for her “bias,” some suggesting she be fired, etc., etc. Wish Truthdig had posted the anchor’s name, since it’s a rare treat to discover a reporter at a mainstream news outlet who’s not too frightened to express her righteous moral outrage over the slaugther in Qana, and directly in the face of yet another Israeli spokesperson—one who withers under that outrage. Job WELL DONE by this CNN anchor! What a refreshing change from Blitzer’s endless toadying.
