California Heat Wave Kills More Than 130

California?s recent heat wave has caused the deaths of more than 130 people, officials believe.  Though temperatures have been cooling, they hovered around 115 degrees in some parts of the state earlier in the week.

If Congress and the courts had any cojones, The CO2-producing corporations that have contributed to global warming would be forced to pay compensation to the families of those who died in the heat wave.
Knowing conservatives, they’d say that the people who died were old and frail, so it was just natural selection at work. Conservatives have a knack for discounting human lives other than their own and their families’.
