By R. A. Earl, July 27, 2006 at 6:15 pm # “Exxon Mobil Corp. said Thursday it earned $10.36 billion in the second quarter...” I’m sorry. EARNING something entails WORK and actually CREATING SOMETHING OF VALUE from some effort you’ve made. Having a windfall… especially a politically manipulated, artificially inflated RIP OFF… is not EARNED income. It’s just that… an UNEARNED WINDFALL. Have you ever heard of such obscenity… tens of thousands of children STARVING TO DEATH each week in various parts of the world, and EXXON executives are BOASTING how many BILLIONS they’ve made in a quarter. I don’t know how those creeps can hold their heads up. They’re shameful, disgusting examples of dispassionate human greed.
