Condi Feels Lebanon's Pain
Mr. Fish

In her surprise visit with Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Siniora in Beirut on Monday, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice “assured a largely powerless leader that America was sympathetic to the suffering of his people, though it has stopped short of pressuring Israel to let up on its campaign against militants.” (story--quote on p. 2)

N.Y. Times:

Ms. Rice’s visit with Mr. Abbas on the West Bank had echoes of her surprise meeting with Mr. Siniora in Beirut on Monday. In both cases, she assured a largely powerless leader that America was sympathetic to the suffering of his people, though it has stopped short of pressuring Israel to let up on its campaign against militants.

Ms. Rice pointedly characterized Mr. Abbas as the “duly elected president” of the Palestinian Authority and said “the Palestinian people have had to live too long” under harsh conditions.

But just as pointedly, Mr. Rice did not respond to Mr. Abbas’s urgent appeal for cease-fires in region, to ease what he said was suffering “beyond the capacity of any human being to endure.”

Any time I see anyone kissing any portion of Ms. Rice’s anatomy, I feel a severe bout of nausea coming on.

She feels no one’s pain. Her great empathy was shown when she went shoe shopping on Fifth Avenue while New Orleans and her residents were being submerged. That was preventable too.

She is a thoroughly repulsive woman.

So, the United States supplies the precision bombs that Israel uses to decimate Lebanon and kill hundreds of civilians.

Ms. Rice supports these actions and refuses to call for a cease fire.

And then, the United States provides a few million for food and humanitarian need.

When Stalin was asked how he kept his grip on the people, it is said that he grabbed a live chicken by the neck and began to pluck the feathers.  He ripped them all out, leaving the chicken bloody, denuded and dazed in pain. He placed the bruised and bleeding animal on the ground, grabbed a piece of bread and walked away.  The chicken wandered to him and Stalin reached down and fed the bird.  Author Ravi Zacharias in his book “Walking from East to West”, writes that Stalin said, “People are like that. If you inflict pain on them, they will follow you for food the rest of their lives.”

May the G-d of Abraham have mercy on us all.

I believe there is an important reason for Israel’s actions that is not being mentioned much: The US Republicans need a terrorist attack before November.

The 9/11/01 attack was also preceded by many provocative acts by Israel & the US.  There’s no need for the Bush gang to conspire with Al Q et al, this way is much safer.

Great picture of Condi Rice.  That whole trip was just a photo op.  Hundreds, if not thousands of pictures were taken of her.
