These are girls who live in Kiryat Shmona who get bombared by hezbollah rockets on a weekly basis, and who during the war were hit with thousands of rockets. i am lebanese…and i feel that it really is as disgusting as the person says. these girls are not actually doing anything bloody or fatal but they are supporting the israeli soldiers to bomb and kill innocent lebanese children, and people who never did anything wrong. and think about it, to “proud israeli soldier” YOUR PEOPLE MURDER US AND OUR FAMILIES SO DON’T TRY TO BE SO INNOCENT!! I agree with Geronimo and Ms. Schwartz.  I, too, am “heartbroken at the insensitivity and hatred..”  Furthermore, I am aghast that our congress voted today to support Israel’s bombing of Lebanon. It is egregious.  The only voice that makes any sense right now is the voice of Kofi Annan who has called for a ceasefire on both sides:  Israel and the Hezbolla.  Why isn’t the world standing up and saying that bombing Beirut, (because their leadership is weak and seemingly unable to control the Hezbolla) is NOT acceptable.  Why should hundreds of innocent Lebanese be killed and their cities destroyed because Israel is angry over the capture of two of its military. 
We should not be supporting Israel with money, weapons, or any equipment.  Lebanon reached out to this nation and asked for help and this President turned a deaf ear.  This President could have made a call to Israeli leadership requesting some form of moderated discussion - a cooling off period.  We are on the brink of a holocaust caused by the middle east’s tribal fighting.  If both sides want to fight, since both sides have indeed been wronged, let them do it with rocks and stones.  I suggest that America needs to get out of the middle eastern conflicts and politics.  America should provide only medicine and food.  Enough of war support.  No more war. 
I encourage every citizen to vote against this congress who endorsed Israel’s attacks against Lebanon.  Israel has always felt that we would back them up, no matter what.  It has got to stop.  The acts of bombing and continuing to bomb Beirut are unreasonable and out of proportion.

These teenage girls are Israel’s answer to the young Palestinian suicide/homicide bombers.  While the young Israelis aren’t doing the dirty work themselves,  their signatures and their spirit are inscribed on artillery shells,  some of which are likely to kill or maim Lebanese children, the same age as they are.

That’s the same sort of activity that the Hitler youth engaged in during the days of Nazi Germany. Way to go,  Israelis You’ve succeeded in turning into your former slavemasters.  That’s what happens when the ex-slave becomes a colonizer,  because to colonize is to enslave others..  Unfortunately,  with each subsequent generation,  being the slavemaster gets easier and easier.  The smiles on the faces of the young girls say it all.

I agree with the writer of that article.  I feel sick in my heart - literally, heart-broken at the insensitivity and hatred coming from both sides.  I feel as if some of the humans on this planet are living in the Dark Ages.
