The Pope Apparently Has God’s PlaybookPosted on Jul 10, 2006
And he’s using it to make statements like this to an audience in Spain, where same-sex marriages were legalized last year: “The family is a unique institution in God’s plan, and the church cannot fail to proclaim and promote its fundamental importance.? God, what a guy: powerful enough to create a universe but still needs the help of a former Hitler Youth to stigmatize homosexuals.

The meaning of “stigmatize” is to brand or name something. In this case, the Pope is not judging or labeling someone, he is merely calling an apple an apple. What do you want him to do, call it an orange in order to make others comfortable?
The Pope is fully aware that homosexual behavior is abhorrent to natural law. He is conscious of the fact that the normalization of homosexual behavior is not okay because it is NOT natural or normal. If it was then men and women who engage in sex with people of the same sex would be able to create life.
And trying to make the Pope into a Nazi supporter in order to try and discredit him is intellectually dishonest.

Hey, be careful what you say about the “infallible” one.

How does being drafted as a flak-helper with 16 (who never saw combat) make him a “former Nazi”? Besides, homosexuality was never an antidote to Nazism. The leader of the SA stormtroopers, Ernst Roehm, who proverbially beat the pro Weimar Republic formations to dust, was openly avowing himself a Homosexual.
He was shot in 1934 because his powerful SA became a threat to the Wehrmacht, not because of his sexual orientations. The SA always allowed for a Spartan-warrior-like romanticism that drew on the notion that lovers fight better in combat etc. Notwithstanding homosexuals in concentration camps, the Nazis made no issue of your sexual orientation if you lived your homosexuality unobtrusively. Being homosexual does neither debar you from being a Catholic Priest nor from being a Nazi.
So, for logic´s sake, you better pull that artificial Nazis - Homosexuals confrontation and might think again about how your laugh at the pope furthers your case.

My mother always told me to say nothing if I didn’t have something nice to say about someone.
She was a dear lady… but on this issue, full of shit.
I don’t know the Pope. I don’t want to. I wouldn’t go for an audience with him if he sent his private plane for me.
But I know what he represents. BRAINWASHING, BIG TIME. He heads up an organization which, as far as I am concerned, is as power-hungry and money-hungry as any global commercial corporation on the planet. The entire Catholic Church is a freaky institution… but I’m not about to get into all that here.
What really astounds me are the numbers of “believers/followers/sheep” who absolutely ADORE this man and his organization. Any questions they might have about the religion cannot shake their fanatical support of him and the institution he heads. He presents himself as a superstar and stage manages every word and gesture with one objective in mind… CONTROL OF THE MASSES. And it WORKS!
It’s scary the way the human mind can be taken over by utter nonsense and trained to accept virtually anything as TRUTH. Real scary.

While global warming and this perpetual war on terror threaten our very existence, it’s comforting to see Pope Benedict XVI zero-in on what’s truly important, the homosexual threat to the family. What’s this all about, anyway. I’ve heard lots of folks express concern about such things as not having health insurance, the cost of a college education and the inadequacty of their retirment pensions, but only once has anyone mentioned anything to me about gays or lesbians being a threat to her/his family. Why over this past weekend the city parks were jam-packed with families, with a good time seemingly being had by all. Unless, of course, their ourward appearance was just a veneer to hide the fear and anxiety that’s in everyone’s heart on account of the danger that gay marriage allegedly poses to the health and stability of the family.
Report thisSo, as the polar ice caps melt, it looks like the Pope won’t be content with merely rearranging the chairs on the deck of the Titanic, he wants to decide on the actual seating assignments, with no same-sex families permitted. Best we humor him. though. Remember, he also gives out the passes to the pie-in-the-sky.
