Lamont and LiebermanT
From spazeboy.net

On Thursday night, primary challenger Ned Lamont had his highest-profile encounter yet with Conn. Sen. Joe Lieberman, the man whom many have taken to calling “President Bush’s most reliable Democrat in the Senate.”

Conn. businessman Ned Lamont, who in the polls is closing in fast on Joe Lieberman, forced the three-term senator in a debate Thursday night to defend his strong support for President Bush over the Iraq war, in addition to charging that Lieberman has made his bed in Congress with lobbyists and special interest groups.

A few elbows were thrown.

After Lamont defeats Lieberman, how about write-in campaigns to replace our other Democratic impersonators with real Democrats.  Democratic Voters can hold an Email election to choose their write-in candidates.  So what If this divides the Democratic vote & a Republican slips into office?    What’s the difference between a Democratic right-winger and a Republican right winger.  Besides, .we’ll be serving notice to our politicians that when it comes to representing us, there’ll be no more ad-libbing.  They’re to follow our instructions.  This goes by the name of party discipline.  It works for the Republicans and it’ll wortk for us, too.  It’s long overdue.

From Seattle Washington:  My check is in the mail to your campaign headquarters.  I’ll send as many as I can.  I utterly regret there isn’t someone like you here in Washington State to run against the very flawed and misguided Maria Cantwell. Thanks from a Blue State Liberal!
