Patrick Moore at Yahoo!:

Any politician cringes at the principle of Responsibility, few live by the creed of Honesty, and those who practice Reflection do so privately.  But as an alcoholic, overseeing an alcoholic administration, George Bush is a politician who faces special challenges in truly embracing these principles.  They are, however, the keys to his spiritual health, just as they are for hundreds of thousands of other alcoholics.

Responsibility - We often see George Bush take credit for positive developments in the world.  Who can forget him emerging from a fighter jet in 2003 in front of a banner reading, “Mission Accomplished”?  Three years later, our television screens remain filled with images of carnage in Iraq and more than 2,500 American lives have been lost.  But Mr. Bush will only take partial and grudging responsibility for his administration’s errors and misjudgments.  From Hurricane Katrina to Abu Ghraib, President Bush has refused to own his mistakes.

This has been going on for a long time.  In fact, Lewis Carroll memoralized it in the “Hunting of the Snark.”  Ergo the line “What I tell you three times is true.”

Alcoholism and sovereignty is nothing new.  In fact, the religion of the God Almighty, George Bush’s God, was founded on drunkenness.  I am writing a book about it, and here are the links to the first two installments of the book in progress.  It’s actually a satire, as you might tell from the title.
