Mr. Anklam is right on point. Both political parties are truly disappointing. I intend to vote only for the candidate who stands up and states he/she is against this outrageous occupation in Iraq and will propose immediate withdrawal of all troops.
Report thisIt is astonishing that Americans have not risen in unison to protest the spending of billions of U.S. dollars to build permanent military bases in Iraq. We have homeless, poor and hungry in this nation. America has lost its moral compass. That includes our Congress and WH administration.
Anyone who has viewed the site, “Peace Takes Courage”, (presented by fifteen year old Ava Landry) will be heartsick at the visual imagery of children, human beings of all ages, ethnicity and race blown to bits because our leaders either support this obscene war, or lack the temerity to stand up as has John Murtha in protest of this blood bath. Yes, “Gutless” almost sums it up. But, greed is an important component in the equation.

“GUTLESS== is the word to describe both democrats and republicans. If 80% of the people of Iraq do not want us there and 20% or less do—the insurgents are killing those 20% plus Americans who are occupying THEIR country. It doesn’t get any simpler!!
