Gitmo is a travesty. There can be no justification, terrorism and terrorists notwithstanding, for “authorities” to abandoned the fundamental precepts upon which America is founded. In my America, EVERYONE is INNOCENT until brought before the courts and proven guilty. There is no “unless” or “except” or “extenuating circumstances.”
The one redeeming factor in all of this is that GWB and Co are far too ignorant and short-sighted to realize that, all down through history, most leaders who ignored the laws, lied to their people and otherwise acted as despots, were eventually BROUGHT TO TRIAL and either EXECUTED or INCARCERATED FOR LIFE.
I only hope I live long enough to watch history repeat itself.

It’s clearly a misstatement to use Fox and reporters in the same sentence. That organization of the Bush Administration, and they are nothing more than repuglican operatives.
