The big news would be if a study came out that indicated that the warming wasn’t man-made. Still, with our president refusing even to consider the possibility that fossil fuel is a major culprit in global warming, this latest report from the National Academy of Sciences undoubtedly will be ignored. We’re having trouble accepting the fact that without any outside help we’re frying ourselves. Or, if we do own up to this, we’re making like it’s light years away, rather than the end of this century threat to the lives and well-being of our very own children that it actually is. Which raises questions as to whether we really love our children. We say we do, but if we really did, wouldn’t we be doing something about global warming?
