I wrote to them telling them that I had just cut up my Macys card into very small peices and after being a loyal customer for years, would never again spend one penny in their store since they appear to prefer Homophobes as customers.

Um, they’re mannequins!  They are not human, therefore, they aren’t gay! They were placed in a window with a schedule of Gay Pride events.  Those same mannequins, dressed the same way, placed in a picnic-themed window wouldn’t raise an eyebrow.

“MassResistance” is clearly made up of fools with a lot of time on their hands.  Macy’s is clearly run by spineless wimps who are intimidated by fools with a lot of time on their hands.

Wow. I laugh to think what MassAssholes would think if they saw George Street, Sydney, in March! Our shop windows then draw as many crowds, and many more smiles, than the nativity scenes that they feature in December. But I do worry about how long will it last-our Johnny Howard seems quite smitten with Georgie Boy…

As a Boston resident (and a married woman), I feel it was completely unoffensive.  They should’ve left the window stay as it was.  Where’s the threat?  Can we all just loosen up a bit?

These people that raise so much hell about the gays and spew hate have had a cord struck in thier own psyche. Underneath, these people are for the most part “queer” to the core.  When they strike out against the gay people, they are striking out against the “anima” in themselves.  In layman terms:  They for the most part have strong latent homosexual tendencies themselves and by trashing others for their sexual orientation are unconsciously attempting to destroy the part of themselves they hate.
This will probably be thrown out by “Truthdig” and I can understand why. But I’ve got to say it.  The homophobes would probably not suck one but would hold one in their mouth until somebody else got there that would.

Has it occurred to anybody that these guys are OBSESSED WITH SEX?  I mean, look at Ashcroft and the bare boob incident.  For years and years millions of people walked past that bare boob and, like normal folks, kept on walking.  Not Ashcroft. Well, if Macy wants to attract bigots as their customer base, let them have their way. Just don’t purchase anything from them until they are willing to demonstrate that they are accepting of everyone regardless of orientation.

I have thought this one over e glas to for quite a while, and this time I have to agree with the conservatives.  I think a fat guy popping pills and washing his shlong with a loofa while slapping his biatch-third-wife would make a better window display.  Rumor has it that Rush and the boys at Fox would be glad to pose for it.  Problem is it is soooo hard to find a straight window dressor these days.  It is the same problem they are having on the southern boarder—- everyone wants to bell the cat, but no white guys will work to actually build the wall.  Ahhh.. what did I mix a meta for?  Because if the skinheads are reading this I figured I lose them.

I have had a Macy’s charge card since 1989 and have probably spent tens of thousands of dollars there over the years. I just called and cancelled my Macy’s card because of what is detailed in the article above, and I urge any of you with Macy’s cards to consider doing the same. Even if you don’t have a Macy’s card, please urge folks to boycott Macy’s; they don’t deserve our hard-earned dollars!

Personally, I think it’s a good decision.  Next I’d like to see them segregate the black and white mannequins.  They really shouldn’t be promoting an inter-racial lifestyle.

What should we expect from the Talibanization of America?  The Constitution is nothing more than a cute tourist attraction and the Founding Fathers are being redefined by the people that want to change the very foundations of this country.  America is dying thanks to corporate-controlled Republicans and Democrats, and all the enablers that continue to make excuses for the dismantling of what was once the greatest democracy in the world.  Now it has become a joke, and not a very funny one.  Americans should feel shame at having let so many people down in such a huge way.  How many people fought and died to protect the rights that America is currently eroding.  I say America, and not Bush, because no President has enough power to accomplish this.  The American people are sheep that have let fear rule their lives.

The sight of gay mannequins in a store window will cause the breakdown of the traditional family and shred the fabric of society. Once they are removed, the control freaks in MassTurbate will be able to breathe easier.

Well, of course it is offensive—to MassResistance.  But so is the faith-based bigotry peddled by the likes of Ann Coulter, Tim LeHaye, Richard Knight and James Dobson offensive to me.  Imagine the whining and wailing that would result if those goons were suppressed. I think I find a ceremonial “tree lighting” and Pride Idol, whatever that is, far more offensive. But Macy’s is so lame about this. Would they take mannequins of two Irish people for St. Patty’s Day out of the window if some Jews found it offensive?
