Paper May Take Legal Action Against Bush AidePosted on Jun 1, 2006Bush’s top domestic policy aide, Karl Zinsmeister, changed his quotes in a Syracuse newspaper’s profile on him and then re-posted the article on his website. One of the quotes he changed was originally published as: “People in Washington are morally repugnant, cheating, shifty human beings.” The editor of the paper says she is consulting a lawyer.

Are we entering the modern equivalent of the Dark Ages, when scholarly works were rescued from those who wanted to destroy them, copied, and hidden away in several different places?
The Memory Hole site asked people to save hard copies of photos of flag-draped coffins in the hold of a transport coming back to Dover AFB in case the pictures “disappeared” one day.
Are computer owners with CD burners and printers going to become the 21st century version of mediaeval monastery libraries?
