Brangelina
From turkishdailynews.com.tr

Slate has published a handy guide to help parents express why they love the Brangelina baby more than their own children.

OK, we give up: With news of The Birth pushing all other news off the international agenda, here’s a satirical guide from Slate that helps parents express why they love the Brangelina baby more than their own children.

Slate:

Mommy, what’s the Brangelina baby?

It’s a question no parent is ready to answer, but one that is being asked by younger and younger children. As parents, it’s our job to help them.

Understanding the Warning Signs:

How can parents know if their children aren’t coping well with the Brangelina baby? Stay alert. Monitor your kids’ television viewing, Web surfing, and glossy celebrity-weekly reading habits. Also, look for nonverbal signs: moodiness, anger, silence, anxiety, regression, nightmares, bed-wetting. These may be indicators that your child is struggling with the Brangelina baby.

Oh, for pity’s sake…WHO CARES ABOUT THIS TRIPE?? I’m getting utterly sick and tired of seeing Brad and Angelina’s plastic faces practically everywhere I turn—there are so many news stories out there far more deserving of attention than this. It’s no wonder that Americans are so out of touch with the rest of the world when their attention and that of the media is increasingly consumed by this sort of crap. Why are people trying to portray this relationship as such a wonderful thing, anyway? I may be a liberal—but contrary to what many conservatives might think, there actually *are* some things which I consider to be wrong and adultery is one of them.
