The National Post has retracted an article that said Iran planned to force Jews and other non-Muslims to wear distinctive insignia.
Also, it turns out the author of the article is aligned with many of the same neocons who beat the drums for war with Iraq.

Reuters:

OTTAWA, Canada—A Canadian newspaper apologized Wednesday for an article that said Iran planned to force Jews and other religious minorities to wear distinctive clothing to distinguish themselves from Muslims.

The National Post ran the piece on its front page Friday along with a large photo from 1944 that showed a Hungarian couple wearing the yellow stars that the Nazis forced Jews to sew to their clothing.

The story, which included tough anti-Iran comments, was picked up widely by Web sites and by other media.

The newspaper did not retract the entire story, there will be an islamic dress code, leaving Christian, Jew, or anyone not muslim to be easily identified by its more than 95% muslim countymen. Muslims kill infidels. Infidels dont follow the islamic dresscode.

It’s ok to have non-Muslims wear humiliating badges.  That is a traditional feature of traditional Islam.  You may not like it but it beats the Christian practice of not only humiliating non-Christians but actually murdering them.

Why let the facts get in the way of a good story, eh?

The problem is, this is supposed to be a NEWSPAPER. (Sorry I shouted.)
