Hayden: ‘We Just Took Too Much for Granted’ in IraqPosted on May 18, 2006
That’s what Gen. Hayden said about the prewar Iraq intelligence failures. But there was no contrition for the domestic wiretapping activities he oversaw at the NSA. In contrast, he strongly defended the programs.

Yesirree by Golly, they just took too much for granted…Galldangit…And I’m really the Prince of Wales too. Strange how these men prevaricate and fall beneath their usual level of intelligence when being questioned, even if the questioning of The Senate committee is a sham worthy of over dignified theatrics and TV Wrestling. Anyway, someone tell me is that a black uniform he’s got on? or have I had too much Yuban?

They are really scraping the bottom of the barrel here. Anyone with any sense has already deserted the sinking ship. Who would want to be associated with this crew?

What’s there to understand about General Hayden? He lied to Congress when push came to shove.
If he’s the best we can do in this nation to guard our way of life, we are losing. He’s another who believes that safeguarding one’s personal career is the highest good.
We have come to this from what the signers of our Declaration of Independence committed themselves to?!:
“And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.”
