Has AT&T Sent Out the Most Ironic Mailer Ever?

AT&T envelope
From AMERICAblog

This appears to be an envelope that AT&T has been sending out.

You won’t believe the envelope that the phone company has apparently been sending out. If it’s not a hoax, the irony is so thick that not even an NSA eavesdropper could penetrate it.

AMERICAblog:

I’ve received this from two people now, and each one had a different AT&T return address depending on where the person was located in the US (meaning, this wasn’t the same image being forwarded around the Net), leading me to believe that this is for real.

(For those of you who are a little slow on the irony side of things, read what AT&T wrote on the front of the envelope. You’ll recall that AT&T is one of three companies alleged to have voluntarily helped the NSA spy on its customers.)

Just as with our government going, going, gone, so will large coporations do the same. It’s so easy when in the national eye to trip over your own lies! And it’s always right there for anyone to see and remember. Karl Rove himself has done a few of those trips in the past weeks, and Bush steps on his own lies so often that, unfortunately, not enough people pay attention any longer. “Oh, that’s just Bush again.”

The irony of it all is amazing!
