Telecom Companies Masquerading as Concerned CitizensPosted on May 15, 2006Companies like AT&T and BellSouth are backing an organization claiming to be saving the Internet by keeping it free of “burdensome and unnecessary regulation.” But that’s nonsense. They’re the ones that want to put toll lanes on the Internet. (These are the same companies that reportedly handed over America’s phone records to the NSA.)

innovations and development in mobile broadband services have made it alot easier for companies to track and relay information to the federal government.

This net neutrality thing confuses me a lot… You should spend a lot of effort to understand what lies beneath all this fuss…
The issue first got my attention through this blog post… Perhaps it’s one of the most plain, and easy to grasp articles on the issue… But which legislation makes sense and all that, I don’t know…
