Report: Bush Aide Advises Rattling Saber on Iran for Political GainPosted on Apr 24, 2006Josh Bolten, the president’s new chief of staff, has reportedly counseled Bush that talking tough on Iran will shore up his national security polling numbers. Update: Oh, yeah: Iran may pull out of the nonproliferation treaty.

We would not be, “going to war with Iran,” we would be attacking Iran. It is not the same thing.

Here’s my take on Iran…
Report thisAhmadinejad is prodding Bush to attack Iran. Bush is taking the bait.
In the eyes of some, the US attack on Iran will give Ahmadinejad the moral high ground.
Ahmadinejad will march Iranian troops into Iraq to fight the ‘enemy’ - our troops. Our troops can’t handle it.
Bush will then try to re-institute the draft, a move which won’t be well received in the U.S. or
the troops and ‘friendlies’ will have to be evacuated.

Investigation is the centrist choice, between ignoring overwhelming cause for alarm and pushing for impeachment without enough evidence. How many leakers have to speak out before the American public will contact their representatives to demand it?
Are we really ready to go through this AGAIN?
