President Bush’s low approval ratings are worrying congressional Republicans facing reelection.

CNN has the president at 32%, the lowest number ever recorded for him.

Washington Post:

WASHINGTON (CNN)—President Bush’s approval ratings have sunk to a personal low, with only a third of Americans saying they approve of the way he is handling his job, a national poll released Monday said.

In the telephone poll of 1,012 adult Americans carried out Friday through Sunday by Opinion Research Corporation for CNN, 32 percent of respondents said they approve of Bush’s performance, 60 percent said they disapprove and 8 percent said they do not know.

That’s a significant drop from the way Americans perceived the president a year ago. In a CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll carried out April 29-May 1, 2005, Americans were split on their assessments of Bush’s performance, with 48 percent saying they approved and 49 percent saying they disapproved. What do you think would happen to you if you scored 32% on a performance evaluation in your job?

If you were a salesperson and a survey of your customers indicated that only one out of three was satisfied with your service, how quickly do you think you would become unemployed?

Bush is a perfect example of the person who wants what they feel they deserve, then don’t feel they deserve what they get. Unfortunately the American people have been ‘gotten’ for so many years now, it really amazes me they waited so long to have gotten sick of this meglo-maniacal nincompoop. As for you, Gilbert LaBiaga #7761, no one who steals an election should ever be so brazen as to claim a ‘mandate’. I hope you were just kidding.

History will prove and say that Mr. Bush is the worst US President in the last 75 years. He is a puppet of the super rich and the extreme right, with Rummy and Cheney pulling the strings since day one. He has been so used and abused by these groups that I could actually feel sorry for him if he the guts to stand up just once to this small minority and follow the will of the forgotten common people of this nation.

I have seen chimps a lot smarter than he is. He has proven it time and again. How do we dig ourselves out of the mess he and his cronies have put us in.  Can we?  Tell him to stay off Air Force I and quit burning fuel. He has no idea what it is like for the average person in this country and should step down and let someone who has a clue try to help straighten out this horrible situation.  I am proud to say I DID NOT vote him in to office and I used to be a republican.

Don’t be lulled to sleep by the incredible shrinking man’s poll numbers. Keep the pressure on.

Strike! Boycott! March!

Bush has lost his mandate. His approval rating is a shame to low. He could regain his worth and honor by walking out the door. Goodbye George. Enough!!
