The high number of fatalities marks this as one of the bloodiest periods for the military since the invasion.

News.com.au: Iraqi and American forces battled rebels in Baghdad for the second straight day today as car bombs exploded near two Shiite mosques in a wave of violence that has surged amid the country’s protracted power vacuum.

Police also found 15 bullet-riddled bodies across Baghdad of men shot execution-style in apparent sectarian bloodshed.

Overnight, Iraqi troops were still under sporadic gunfire from insurgents in Baghdad’s Sunni stronghold of Adhamiyah where the army was conducting search operations.

The army, along with US forces, yesterday fought a group of 50 gunmen in the neighbourhood. Five rebels were killed and seven captured after a seven-hour battle.

WASHINGTON - President Bush said Wednesday he didn’t expect to get unanimous support at home for the decision to invade Iraq and said failure there “is not an option.”

BUT 3 YEARS Shows NO ACCOMPLISHMENTS in Iraq or Afghanistan.  BUSH you FAILED!  Grade “F”, just like at Yale!

“I assured them that our goal in Afghanistan and Iraq is victory and victory will be achieved when there is a democracy in both countries,” and those democracies can sustain and defend themselves, he said.

Pleasse show us the proof BUSH of your ACCOMPLISHMENTS!  Where are they?

So far many americans see the following by you:
SEVERE economic damage to individuals and the economy, dishonesty in government by the boat loads, to many departments are incompetent including BUSH, corruption mouting by the hour, general lassitude and cluelessness, personal dishonesty, and religious arrogance, thousands of dead and totally disabled!

Bush you are one Destructive Person.
Bush you are expendable! Exit stage left.  Next President Please!

Interesting to see the people that our ‘liberators’ are shooting at referred to as ‘rebels’, ‘insurgents’ and ‘gunmen’ rather than the usual ‘terrorists’. Someone please tell our ‘decider-in-chief’ that the ‘democratized’ Iraqi’s are fed up.
