Anti-Rumsfeld General: Questioning Command Healthy For DemocracyPosted on Apr 14, 2006
Major Gen. John Batiste (ret), who has called for Rumsfeld’s resignation, tells Katie Couric: “I think there’s a lot of people now starting to ask questions, and I think that’s healthy in a democracy.” He also says the book “Cobra II” gets the story of the Iraq War right.

So they want Rumsfeld’s job. Are the chorus of retirees advocating withdrawal? Or that we send another 100,000 GI’s and do the job right? The left and progressive movements would be wise to not make too much of these war hawks statements less they unite to bring em home.
