Former DHS Child Porn Official a Sex Criminal?

Posted on Apr 6, 2006

Frank Figueroa, a Dept. of Homeland Security agent, is scheduled to stand trial today on a charge that he exposed himself to a girl in a mall. Figueroa used to run the department’s “Operation Predator,” a program to fight sex crimes against children.

This comes on the heels of the arrest of DHS officer Brian J. Doyle, who was picked up for allegedly trying to prey on a child via the Web.

What the hell is going on at DHS?

TPM Muckraker.com:

Oh, my goodness.

As I noted earlier, a senior Homeland Security Department law enforcement agent was busted last October for exposing himself to a girl in the food court of a mall.

Next to the recent arrest of DHS spokesman Brian Doyle on child sex charges, this was just one more reason to take Operation Predator away from DHS, I said. “Predator” is the agency’s program to bust child sex criminals.

Now we discover—that law enforcement agent, Frank Figueroa, used to run Operation Predator.

Sorry, “m,” but if you consider the sight of the sex organs, “horrifying,” YOU NEED THERAPY. You have to be TAUGHT to be that ignorant and immature so you’ve got some UNlearning to do before you can call yourself an adult.

By the way, in most countries, “16” is no longer a CHILD… hell, in many countries and cultures she’s married and having babies by then.

ONLY IN AMERICA is a male or female of 16 considered a CHILD in need of protection from bad words and the sight of a naked body. Good grief, Americans… GROW UP!

the child was 16… she didn’t need her parents around to be horrified.

And most people who commit crimes aren’t well in some way or another.  But if he was competent enough to hold that kind of job, he was competent enough to know he had a problem and needed to do something about it.  I’m not going to pity him for getting what he deserves.

Oh human foibles. Clearly, those struggling with “issues” surrounding their sexuality perhaps should not be in charge of the hen house.

However, please, folks, keep in mind that EXPOSING ONESELF is almost ALWAYS a physically harmless act and almost NEVER leads to further assault. The “perp” gets his jollies by watching the horrified reaction of his victims. Ignore him and he’ll “deflate” faster than a pricked balloon!

But if mom or dad goes berzerk in front of the child over the incident, that’s another story… now THAT action WILL traumatize the child and burn the event forever in memory.

Which behavior do you consider does the more harm to a young child?

One more thing. Please explain how making a CRIMINAL of someone who has an emotional/pschological illness is HELPING the situation.
