Tony Blair Attacked Over ‘God’ RemarksPosted on Mar 4, 2006BBC: Anti-war campaigners have criticised Tony Blair after he suggested his decision to go to war in Iraq would ultimately be judged by God. The prime minister told ITV1’s Parkinson chat show: “If you believe in God (the judgement) is made by God.” Reg Keys, whose son was killed in Iraq, said Mr Blair was “using God as a get-out for total strategic failure” and his comments were “abhorrent”. But Labour MP Stephen Pound praised Mr Blair for being “painfully honest”. Advertisement Previous item: No Iraq Trip for Rep. This is why Gore Vidal’s essay, President Jonah (redux is a must read for every thinking person of our two nations, US and Great Britain—minimum.
Bush(#43) and Blair are caught up in the insanity of biblical literalism. The “good vs. evil” reasoning of the Joshua at Jerico and the end-times Battle of Armageddon myths; the “stay the course and let God sort it out” reasoning of the Job myth and the history of the Crusades.
Bush has Bible Study in the White House for crissake! He believes he is chosen by God to lead America in these times. AND he is not very intelligent ... on the scale of being able to connect the dots.
It is time, folks. 2006 has to be The Year of the People ... when we take our government back.

the wonderful thing about God is he is always available to take the blame. we are merely doing gods’ will. an even more wonderful thing is that his will is always the same as ours. it cannot fail to be because we created god in our own image. we recreate him anytime an emotional, therefore changing, belief structure requires it.
Report thisthose homophobic bigoted zealots from Kansas who are terrorizing funeral mourners are utterly convinced they are doing gods will. how could such a vile action be gods will? easy, when your life is ruled by emotion istead of calm reason. If I believed in god, I would be holding my breath waiting to see them struck down by lighting.
