A quote from the article:
“Abu Qussay said he killed his son after discovering he was gay. He said he was now considered a hero by his friends.
“I hanged him in my house in front of his brother to give an example to all of them and prevent them from doing the same,” Qussay said proudly.
“After the father of two was arrested for the murder, he was charged with the killing and then released a month later when his lawyer explained why his client had committed the crime.”
You’d think that if Qussay really wanted to prevent his other children from such perversity he’d have HANGED THEM ALL! Can’t have too much of a good thing! Too damned bad he didn’t hang HIMSELF BEFORE he had any children!
To paraphrase Potnick in #3125, this just goes to show you how MUCH difference exists between intelligent and educated people whose brains haven’t been fried by overwhelming doses of a “religion” drug, and “Muslims and Pat Robertson and his followers.”
And boy, that “religion” drug is some stuff. We fuss and fret over “bird flu” and even AIDS, while the REAL disease not only is encouraged in our societies, but given a tax break to boot!
